Booked two rooms sleeping 6 adults. Called 4 days prior to ask for early checkin, identified one room slept 3 and other 2, 1 bed space short. Addressed by reception or so I thought until we checked in only to find 1 bed short. Changed to another room that slept 3 however airconditooning not working and room had a damp smell…..not a pleasant stay given 33-35 degree weekend temps. Hotel presents clean however run down and requires renovation throughout.

It's about to undergo renovation which is great. At the moment it's somewhat run down but was absolutely fine for an overnight stay. Staff at reception really nice and welcoming.

We had bugs in our bed but had a great Asian restaurant and the shower was big but weird how you have to shut the door so alarm doesn’t go off otherwise you have to pay for fire dept come out. Air cond was average but had that one plus the fan to make room cool no windows to open only bathroom wifi didn’t work no toaster no microwave have stayed elsewhere 3 star they accommodate this

This is a budget hotel and is excellent for just that reason. It was perfect for what I needed. Quiet with a restaurant on site. I had an upstairs room tucked away at the back and had a lovely view of the escarpment from a very private balcony which was a bonus and with a table and chairs made it a nice extra space. I wouldn’t recommend an upstairs room for anyone with toddlers as the railings are not designed for keeping a child in. Clean on the small side room with the basics available at a reasonable price. The managers clearly keep an eye on making it a quiet stay. Just what I needed,

TV did not work. Owner rang enquiring what time we would arrive as they would not be there at 5.30pm. Really!!!!!. What happened to the idea of relief staff.Both owners were sitting at counter presenting an inhospitable and intimidating environment. Will bever go back there and I am telling everyone I know to do the same.
