Would stay here again for sure!

Great stay, even in cooler weather (hot tub was great for this). Would love to stay here again in another season or for our annual April trip again next year. Plenty of room in the house for kids, parents and grandparents. Zero complaints!

Cousins Getaway

A spacious, spotless beautiful home on a secluded lot. We had plenty of room for our group of 9! The hosts quickly responded if we had any questions. This was our third stay here and we would highly recommend it be one of yours if you are traveling along the Maine coast. Having the hot tub was an added bonus for sure.

Perfect Winter Getaway

We had a fantastic winter long weekend at the house with our teenage son. This was our second time staying here. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking our meals and the beds were very comfortable. We relaxed in front of the fireplace and stargazed in the hot tub. The nearby towns are full of great restaurants and bookstores. Our stay really was perfect and we can’t wait to return.

Beautiful views and comfortable home

Our family decided on an impromptu trip to Maine for a weekend stay. It included me, my husband, our three children (18,18 and 12) and our two dogs. There was more than enough space for everyone and it was probably the most well stocked home including everything we needed or wanted. We loved the open concept first floor with the spectacular views of the river. The basement was cozy and the kids enjoyed hanging out down there. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace and pellet stove made it extra cozy! Amanda was a super host and extremely responsive to our questions. The hot tub was a huge bonus feature and I felt like the dogs were welcomed with bowls, a crate and beautiful grounds to run around. The location was very private, but close to shopping and sight seeing locations! We are already planning our return trip!

Perfect peaceful retreat.

What a fantastic property. It was exactly the peaceful seclusion we were looking for. Place was spotless and massive. Best way to ring in the New Year, cooking together, playing board games, laughter and cheer. Hoping we can come back with a larger group so they can experience the fantastic space, too.

Fabulous stay!

Beautiful property, lots of space for our small family to spread out. My husband enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch, our children loved sleeping in open loft. We very much enjoyed the hot tub after a long day exploring coastal towns of Maine. We had some issues one evening with temperature of hot tub but host was very quick to respond and issue was quickly resolved. I highly recommend this property!

Great family vacation!

We stayed here while family visited from out of town and it was an incredible property. Gorgeous views, beautiful natural lighting throughout the house, and so many amenities: hot tub, places to relax outside, fire pit, grill, etc. Everything in the house was so well thought through such as plentiful blankets, floor fans, sticks for making smores, you name it. And the property managers were so communicative and answered my questions immediately. I highly recommend this place and will be staying here again!

A Wonderful Wooded Escape

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. The house was clean and all ready for our group with games, suggestions for things to do in the area, etc. We accidentally turned off the hot water but was able to contact Amanda (the host) and she got us situated within minutes. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful Space

This home is a beautiful, open space that encourages time spent with family in a relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub and hammock are lovely and the lower level is nicely stocked with a variety of games and books. Overall, a great vacation space!

Such a relaxing and peaceful location with amenities galore! The setting and space were indescribably beautiful! The hosts were super responsive to all of my questions and so, so hospitable! This was a perfect setting for my family to have the vacation of our lifetime. We were able to take day trips to the surrounding areas and enjoy the beautiful state of Maine as well as the beauty of this VRBO location. Heads up to future vacationers: you do not need to bring any spices…especially not salt and pepper. 😉 Literally everything we needed was right there except the groceries and personal items we bought for the week. I cannot say enough good about this beautiful place and wonderful hosts! A thousand “thank yous” is just a good start.

Peace and Serenity

If you are looking for serenity and nature, you need to stay here. The home is located on a hillside, with views of the river and woods. It is a place of privacy and seclusion. The home is beautiful, large and has everything you need to enjoy during your stay. There were five of us staying the week and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Communication with the owners, Amanda and Sean, was extremely fast and professional. There is a lot to see and do, so give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all Maine has to offer. Private Coastal Log Cabin

What a wonderful property! My daughter got married at Pemaquid Point on July 4th, and that all went well but kept us very busy and I wish we just could have hung out more. We all agreed we would like to come again in the future for just a regular vacation. really liked having my coffee on the screened in porch in the early morning listening to the occaisional lobster boat coming by in the fog. Very peaceful and private location. Thanks for a great stay!

Deserves more than five stars!

I cannot say enough good things about this incredible vacation log home in Westport Island. This home is gorgeous, spotless, spacious and has a beautiful view. The decor and furnishings are so inviting. You are able to park your car in the attached garage, so convenient. The home also has a whole house generator, so no worries about losing power. The hot tub is just a few steps from the back door and is excellent, so fresh and clean. The host is also excellent, so responsive to every question. This is a perfect spot for a great family vacation. If you would like to visit this part of Maine, rent this fantastic vacation home today!

Cousins Weekend!

What a fun weekend we had! There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house is beautiful and in a scenic private location. Having a hot tub was a nice feature too! The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of seating for all of us. The hosts always responded quickly to any questions we had. This was our second stay here and we would come back again! Great stay in Maine

We booked a last minute weekend away for 2 couples and a teen and we had a fabulous time at the cabin. We all had plenty of room and privacy. The beds were all comfortable and the home had everything we needed and was very clean. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pans. We enjoyed the hot tub and star gazing. Beautiful home with great views. We can’t wait to come again.

Perfect Gateway

Our large family enjoyed a last minute weekend getaway at this amazing log-house which had exactly everything we were looking for! High-ceiling windows offering fantastic views, open-floor plan (livingroom + kitchen) to spread out, comfy couches, outdoor hot tub to enjoy during a snowy night, the wood burning stove in the basement, and so much more. The house sits on a small island and is remote enough that makes it seem like you are somewhere deep in the forest - again, the perfect gateway with everything you could need to unplug from the world.
