Neuastenberg, 5 km from Winterberg, is the highest village in the region. It is known as an air spa resort. It has fine, atmospheric and clear ski area the Postwiese. Where you can even ski at night a few times a week from floodlit slopes. It is ideal for beginners and families but with a fun park and toboggan run, it offers plenty of entertainment for everyone. You will also find several restaurants, wellness options, various sports facilities and an indoor go-kart track.

Winterberg is the centre of the region, thanks to all kinds of facilities you can enjoy snow fun here practically all winter. Skiing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing and, of course, après-ski. In summer, you can go insane mountain biking. There is even a challenging downhill trail. But motorcycling is also wonderful here.
