The house itself is nice, clean, and very comfortable. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly, and the location was great for our needs. The host was accessible and responsive whenever we reached out with questions or concerns.That said, there were a couple of downsides that future guests may want to be aware of. There is a tenant living in the basement, and the cleaning products they use—especially bleach—have a very strong smell. We did bring this to the host’s attention, but unfortunately the odor was persistent enough that we decided to check out earlier than planned.We also had issues with the dryer. The first time we used it, it made extremely loud noises and ended up damaging our white pillowcases and blankets, leaving what looked like black ink marks. We messaged the host about it, but no one came to check the appliance during our stay.Overall, the house has potential, but the basement tenant’s strong cleaning odors and the unresolved dryer issue affected our experience. With a few improvements, it could be a much better stay.

Well

I booked this stay to get some peace and quiet after an extremely difficult time. Would have apprechiated it, if there were a hint in beforehand, that this appartment is below street level(so almost no natural light) and the neighbours above are quite sociable. The place was clean and, despite the noise, comfy.
