Residencia para no fumadores Hermoso y moderno bungalow de 2 dormitorios con amarre de 100 pies, a orillas del río Támesis. Bañera de Hidromasaje, Sauna, Wi-Fi. 4 millas a Lego-land, Windsor y Eton, 5 millas Thorpe Park, London Eye y Westminster 45 minutos en coche (18 millas).

ARREGLOS PARA DORMIR:
Dormitorio grande con cama King size, capacidad para 2 adultos.
La segunda habitación más pequeña tiene un sofá cama para 2 personas (es un sofá-cama de 4'6 "de ancho), similar a una cama doble pequeña, adecuada para niños.
También hay un sofá-cama en el salón para 2 personas (de nuevo, este se despliega para tener 4'6 "de ancho).
Idealmente, para unas vacaciones realmente buenas, la casa tiene capacidad para 4 personas cómodamente. We loved Sharon and Andy’s cottage. It’s right on the River Thames, and close to numerous historic sites, including Windsor Castle, Eton, the site where the Magna Carta was signed, Roman ruins, and so much more.It is also located within walking distance of the Sunnymead rail station, which is a 1h ride into London and its Underground system.We also enjoyed the hot tub! That was a definite plus, as was learning about Andy’s storied career - you have to stay there to learn about it!Hope to go back some day!

Week starting 6th September great comms with owner, easy check in. Loved the location right on the river side, very private, easy access to train station for Windsor and london. Very unique and interesting property (music orientated) Loved the hot tub, sauna, out side seating. Weather was great so this always helps. Home could have been cleaner lots of cob webs on arrival, ivoy from roof in sitting room ? Garden a bit wild or natural? several light bulbs, window blind, juke box, cooker extractor hood not working all reported to owner. Outside loungers in poor state. Cottage on a tight private road was not easy to reverse car in (discovery) but we used train most days so didnt affect us. Train line about 10 meters behind house one every 15min or so but didnt bother us 10 min walk to station. Under flight path for Heathrow every 2min again didnt bother us over all enjoyed the stay loved the character but would say it needs a refresh cracks filling and painting

By far the best hosts i have ever come across. We had an amazing time. The location is perfect. We had fantastic weather, the hot tub was great, used the bbq, sat by the thames. The accommodation is far enough away you have your own space but close enough to Windsor to do all the things you want to. Train station is an 8 min walk and ubers are cheap. What reqlly makes this place special is the quirkiness we kept finding new things we hadnt noticed on the walls etc and the house has life and soul in it. We already want to return in the future.

Beautiful location and idyllic!!

Lovely Riverside views, we were returning customers and the place is a stone throw from the Airport and Legoland resort.Cool funky place, peaceful and very private. No key given for access to outside lake anymore which is a pity, other than that we were very satisfied!!!! If you like the culture of Music, you will be in paradise!!!

Absolutely Fantastic!

We rented this property for Christmas, and it was absolutely fantastic. The hosts were so friendly and there were lots of clear instructions on how to use the hot tub etc. The location was perfect, and we LOVED the decor of the place - so quirky and right up our street as we are a rock n roll loving family. Just what the doctor ordered

The owners communication was fantastic from start to finish and their hospitality superb. The property is absolutely as described and the location is fantastic. It’s a very quirky property with lots to explore inside and outside. We spent lots of time in the hot-tub looking out at the river and enjoying a glass of wine or two. The planes and trains - did not affect either our sleep or enjoyment of the stay so please don’t be put off by the proximity to the line or being on a flight path. As with several other reviews though, if you’re expecting it to be immaculate you’ll be disappointed- but if like us with a dog and children you’ll be more than happy!!

Music Memorabilia, quirky and Unique

Arrived with 🎶🎶🎶 of an era we both appreciate… music memorabilia all around the house… very unique couple who own the home. Attention to detail with their generous gifts of food & drink. Relaxing views of the river and wildlife. Location is very good; train station nearby to get into Windsor which was ideal for us to leave the car and not stress about car parks etc. Windsor Castle is a must see, beautiful…Enjoyed the long walk of the park where we seen plenty of deer and Red Kites. Had an opportunity to be both asked to be one of the 21 salute to light the small canons for King Charles birthday.. very honoured. Walked to Eton to see the famous buildings. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Windsor is a lovely place to visit and if we came again we would stay in the same place.

4 days in Wraysbury

We had a 3 night stay in the property on the banks of the Thames. The place was very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable break. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic and the music items in the house were great, I loved the digital grand piano and retro Jukebox. It was a good base to explore local places including Windsor, Henley and Marlow. The rock and punk memorabilia was very interesting. The access is very tight to manoeuvre into and the constant noise e from planes taking off or landing at Heathrow ay be off putting for some but we got used to it. The hosts left us some nice welcome treats and overall a very pleasant break

Amazing location

The accommodation was in a fantastic location to visit Legoland and other places nearby. The owners were so kind leaving us some choccies and Prosecco. The jukebox was cool and my son absolutely loved playing the piano. Sitting on the riverside on a night watching the parakeets was unforgettable. Lively stay and would recommend.

Pleasantly quirky and unique

The location is ideal once you got used to the noise of the planes and trains. On the first night the planes flew directly over the house every couple of minutes so we were a little worried but on all the subsequent days the flight path changed so was a big improvement We had great weather so really enjoyed eating outside by the river and dips in the hot tub. Being near the train station was useful on the day we were without a car. The ‘treats’ left by the owner was a real surprise and much appreciated. The accommodation is well supplied with kitchen equipment towels etc. we loved the eclectic decor esp the juke box The place could do with a bit of tlc in the garden lots of weeds etc. the house wasn’t spotless but all the main areas were clean and tidy. With all that decor I can imagine it would be a full time job keeping on top of the dust and cobwebs Communication from Sharon and Andy was first class

Not clean

Lovely setting and quirky.Just a shame the cleanliness let it down so bad ..Whole place needs a complete overall including garden …Hit tub great kids loved it and juke box ..lovely bits left for us ..But please take a good look around cobwebs ever dirty skirting boards ..bathroom room very shabby had to clean bath ..Such a shame could be made to look amazing
