This property was a big disappointment. The photographs are very misrepresentative of the standard of decor. They were clearly taken many years ago, and since then the property has not been maintained. It was dirty and almost every item of furniture is either broken or very tired and not fit for purpose. For example, the dining table (which looks fine in the photos) is actually a plastic folding table, and repeatedly started to collapse when we were sitting down to eat. Also, it only seats 6 people, even though the property sleeps 9 or 10 (without needing to use sofa beds). So some of our party had to eat huddled around the kitchen island.The games room was small and dark and smelled very strongly a damp. The pool table is a half-sized children’s pool table, so no good for teens or adults to play on. All the garden furniture was broken and there is an ornamental pond in the corner of the garden, which had a foot of green slushy water in it.The two upstairs bathrooms are very old and dated, with dirty spa baths in them and showers which spurted water in a variety of directions. Generally, the quality of the accommodation was very disappointing for the price. Additionally, it is further out from the center of Windsor that we expected, you can’t really walk into town in less than about 40 minutes. I would not recommend this property.
