The house was great and great location for fishing as the boat ramp is around the corner. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook. We loved our time in Winchester and lots of great restauants and loved the touring the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg. Hope to come back!

What a treat for our first trip to Tim’s Ford lake. The house was in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the short golf cart ride to the dock that added a little adventure to getting on the water. We kept our boat on the side of the dock without any issues. The views from the second floor balcony are awesome. More than enough space for the four adults and two kids that filled the home. We spent the majority of time on the screened in porch but plenty of space to lounge inside if it isn’t for summer or bad weather. Great the grill was just off the side of the kitchen as well. Highly recommend - we plan on returning next summer.

What a great house!

We had a fantastic weekend at this lake house with two families—four parents and six college-age kids. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully laid out for a group our size. The setup worked perfectly: a king master suite, two queen bedrooms, and a spacious bunk room in the lower-level hangout area.We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch enjoying the view—it was one of our favorite spots. The walk down to the lake is manageable, and having the golf cart made it easy to shuttle people and gear back and forth to the dock.The property management team was excellent—very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question.The location on the lake is ideal. It’s close to Tims Ford Marina and just a short ride to the state park, which was perfect for grabbing ice cream. The dock had plenty of space to relax, and we were able to tie up our boat along the side with no issues.Highly recommend this property—we’d absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful Lakehouse

Our family of four loved everything about this home. From the second floor family room with a super comfortable, roomy sofa to the well equipped kitchen. We were here for Easter weekend and were able to easily prepare a holiday meal to enjoy.The master bedroom and bath were great. The mattress was perfect. We don’t usually sleep very well the first night away from home but had no problems sleeping comfortably at all.The two guest bedrooms and baths were wonderful for our kids too. They liked being on the first floor where there was another sofa and the game room to enjoy.We fished off the dock one morning and afternoon. The lake is so relaxing, and the weather was beautiful so it was fun to be outdoors together. The dock was only a short drive or walk from the home, and the golf cart was a nice way to get there as well.We highly recommend this property for a family or group getaway. There are quiet hours (which we loved) as it is in a lovely residential area of the lake.The property management rep Jake was very helpful and accessible and called to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We only wished we could stay longer. We look forward to returning-5 stars all around!

Old Guys/Teammates Reunion

Six 76 year young high school teammates enjoyed a 3 day reunion at this very clean and comfortable house. The house was perfect for 6 old friends to sit in the large great room or large screened-in porch and reminisce and re-connect.. The lake view from the great room and screened-in porch is great. All the beds and furniture was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and uncontested. Be sure to have lunch at Ms Mary BoBos in Lynchburg. We highly recomend this property.

Awesome house with amazing lake view!

We had a family of 7 staying at the house and were all very comfortable. The beds were comfy, the house was fully stocked, clean and spacious. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway or house!

Rest and Relax

We were visiting with family. We always take a trip together each year. The ladies enjoyed the screened in porch and the wonderful kitchen. The men went fishing and kayaking. This is the perfect place to rest and reconnect with family! We already have plans to come back here next year!

Tims Ford Lake

We used this location as a base to visit Huntsville and Nashville. Everything in the house was in perfect working condition, the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and the utensils are plentiful and in good condition. I really appreciated the knives. Kayaking was a great way to start the day. I strongly recommend this property.

Wonderful House and location.

This house was truly amazing. So very clean. Spacious, and accommodating for our family of six adults and three children. The house is not on the lake, however, you could still see the lake and the sunset was beautiful. Having access to the golf cart to go just a short distance to the lake was great. The dock was very clean and well kept. We did use the Kayaks, Which did include lifejackets that were kept back at the house. Great yard and porches. These came in handy because some of the children in the family could not go to the lake. The beds were good. Plenty of extra blankets and sheets and pillows. The bunkbeds were great as well. Very sturdy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. Plenty of cups plates and silverware. Love the dual coffee, pot of Keurig and pot coffee. The only thing I think the kitchen could use a couple of good frying pans. I would definitely stay at this house again. The property managers were very available for questions. I definitely would stay here again.

Lake Trip

We were looking for a short getaway with friends to enjoy memorial weekend. This house was perfect for two families with kids ranged from 8-12. Adults had their own bedroom and kids had their own bed. Kids loved the backyard to play soccer and bocce ball along with the indoor foosball and pac man game. We grilled out, hiked at Tim Fords State Park and swam at the lake on their private dock. The dock was perfect for kids to swim, float and kayak. Quiet neighborhood with a great view of the lake.

Cousin's Trip Spring '24

Our first initial impression was how clean and crisp, bright and spacious everything was. Everything was so well appointed and decorated so tastefully that we immediately felt ourselves relaxing. The amenities were great. The golf cart was a fun bonus, the dock was impressive and the kayaks will be great for people who come in warm weather. We are three sets of cousins and spouses, and we travel together several times a year and this property is one of our favorites. We usually don't repeat a location, but the consensus was we will come back.

Beautiful, Clean, New Home

My two friends and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean, new-smelling and looking home. Everything felt brand new and high-end. In addition to the bunk beds pictured, there are two bedrooms downstairs, each with its own bathroom, then there's a bedroom upstairs with its own huge bathroom plus a half bath for everyone who's hanging out upstairs to use. I was able to log into my streaming accounts in the upstairs bedroom and they had a voice-activated device that played music we listened to all weekend. The dock pictured is about a half mile away (little less) and easy to get to. They provided a golf cart, but we walked. The area was peaceful and there was little (virtually no) traffic coming and going. The property manager was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I definitely want to rent the house again.
