We only stopped by for a single night and got in late. The staff were amazing with late check in, the room was clean and obviously well taken care of. In the morning we were met with an unreal view. We are already planning on coming back here for multiple nights to enjoy the beauty.

We selected the Green Mountain Inn for its central location in VT. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped us with several suggestions and ideas. This is a historic Inn so rooms have very little space. The staff showed us several very comfortable “living room” areas that were great. Breakfast was excellent as was the coffee.

We had 11 hotels in New England in our itinerary and this was my favourite. The attention to detail was unmatched the little key fobs on the room keys the quill for signing the visitors book the whole place had so many quirky details. Beautiful room and gorgeous bathroom with stone wall I shower. Sadly we missed the restaurant which only opens Friday and Saturday but there are lots of eateries at the bottom of the hill.

It was a beautiful inn. Even in early spring when it's mud season in Vermont. The restaurant was amazing. Really good wine and Italian dishes. The staff was really friendly. The rooms were very comfortable with a large bathroom and walk in shower. We will certainly go back.
