Great Family Visit

The location was perfect, close to UNCW, the beach, and downtown. We enjoyed the outdoor games when we hung out at the house. The hot tub was great in the evenings. Great place to stay for anyone who has students at UNCW.

Fantastic Find

If you are looking for a place in the middle of all the action but also located in a quiet neighborhood, this is the place. This is literally 15 minutes from the beach and the same for exploring the historic downtown area. Home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Large enough to have family with you but still cozy enough to feel like it was your own home. Host was very attentive to our questions or requests. Would stay here again if in the area. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy this home for our son’s first ever Spring Break, he absolutely loved it and so did we.

Perfect for our family

We really liked the property. Above all, it is meticulously maintained and clean. The large, fenced in yard was great for our dog. My 12 year old son loves the fact that he could shoot hoops and my 14 year old son took full advantage of the hot tub. It is an easy drive to area parks and Wrightsville Beach. Highly recommend!!

Amazing house for a perfect Get-A-Way!

Our family spent our Christmas vacation here and had the best and most relaxing time. The location is close to everything you need and in a great neighborhood. The house looks exactly like the pictures- clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and so many great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, hammocks, patio area, grill, fireplace, pac-man machine, and the basketball hoop. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipt with everything you need and more. We can not wait to stay here again. The host is fantastic!

Fun home away from home

We had a wonderful time. The property had everything you need and want. The hot tub was great the backyard was fun and set up perfectly. The house was clean and had everything you needed or wanted. We will be coming back when we are in the area.

Thanksgiving

Our daughter graduated from UNCW in May and started her job as a nurse in the hospital working the night shift. Therefore, our family went to Wilmington this year for Thanksgiving to spend it with her. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Palms. My mother, husband, son, daughter, grand dog, and I found everything about the house to be cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of space for us all to sit around and watch TV/movies, cook, play games, and sleep. The backyard was a favorite for us as well. Loved that it was fenced in and outlined with string lights with a lot of seating options. The neighborhood was perfect for dog walking. Convenient location without having to be in the heart of Wilmington. We will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend!!!

Just what we needed!

This vrbo was just what we needed for our stay in Wilmington! We stayed with our 4 younger children and were so thankful to have a pack n play and high chair available. We also loved the hammocks in the back yard, as well as the location of the hot tub. Thank you for a wonderful house and stay!

We enjoyed our stay at The Palms! The house was very cute and clean. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Perfect trip to the beach

We loved the house because it was clean, beautifully decorated, and lots of fun things to do. The girls loved the hot tub and hammocks. And even shot some hoops! The couch and chairs were very comfortable, and we loved the artistic touches throughout the house. The three bedrooms had comfortable beds, so we all slept well. The location is perfect for two reasons: it is on a quiet street in a nice residential neighborhood; and perfectly situated between the beach and the river. It was just minutes to both locations with all the shops and great restaurants. Look forward to staying here again.

Great stay!

The house was awesome - exactly as described and perfect for our stay! It was very clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed! We had 1 question about the gas grill, and the owner called me as soon as I emailed. Told me where the 2nd propane cylinder was and we were grilling in no time! We would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed with the house if you rent it!

UNCW Visit

We were visiting our child at UNCW. House was a great location! Nice, quiet street. Very easy to stay with our dog. Loved the decor and space! Felt like vacation. We used the basketball hoop a lot and hot tub. We will definitely stay here again.

Base to find a place for College Kids to stay

Loved the quiet/safe neighborhood, large yard, clean home and hot tub. Great for a family of 6 plus our dog. Home had all we needed and owners were great. 10-20 mins to everything and we visited Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches. Would stay again for sure.

Peaceful getaway

Exactly as advertised! Nicely decorated, very clean, and all the convenient extras that make a rental feel like home away from home. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, back yard was just lovely. Wonderful property!!!!

Fantastic house!

We very much enjoyed our time at this gem of a house. The design choices were excellent and made this stay very special. There were so many thoughtful touches, including all the basic supplies you could need in the kitchen, games and outdoor entertainment, and household supplies. The house was very clean and well appointed. Our dog absolutely loved the backyard! Look forward to returning soon.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed for a long weekend in early October to visit our son who attends UNCW. It was my husband and I and our 22 and 14 year old sons. The home was perfect for our needs. There were 3 bedrooms so we each had our own room. We used the common room to visit as a family with our older son and his girlfriend. It was cozy and had plenty of seating for watching football on Sunday. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and I appreciated the dryer to take care of the wet towels. We didn't do any cooking but it looked like they had everything you would need to make a meal. The home is in a lovely, quite, area. We felt safe. We would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here for my trip to Wilmington from Florida to visit some old friends and family, I’d highly recommend and if it’s available I’ll be staying here every trip to Wilmington! Perfect location close to the beach and downtown! The neighborhood is quiet and you feel at home immediately! Perfect back yard if you have a four legged friend! Thanks to the host for the great experience! 10/10 from me and would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay

Newly remodeled home, looked amazing. Traveled with friends and pets and everybody loved this place. Very close to everything and in a very quiet/peaceful neighborhood. Will definitely rent again.
