Nature cottage by the lake with river access, river hikes in the Fichtelgebirge

Our detached house by the lake, which is over 100 years old, is located at the entrance to the Fichtelgebirge. A bike path starts right outside the front door. The house is self-sufficient in water thanks to its own well. You’ll have the little nature cottage all to yourself. Shopping options are 1 km from the house. Idyllically situated in the heart of nature, the Warme Steinach River flows alongside the garden, and a small swimming lake lies directly to the right of the property. In the summer, you can take a refreshing dip in the lake right after waking up, or put on your water shoes and enjoy a refreshing Kneipp bath right in the riverbed. The house is accessible only via a gated private road, ensuring maximum privacy. Hiking trails also begin right outside the front door. In the nearby Fichtelgebirge mountains (10 km away), summer offers plenty of hiking opportunities as well as a climbing park, summer toboggan runs, and bike tours. In winter, you can ski on numerous slopes, enjoy cross-country skiing, or cozy up at home in front of the Swedish wood-burning stove. An internet-enabled TV with a Teufel surround sound system can help you forget about bad weather during a cozy evening snuggled up on the sofa set, all while the Swedish wood-burning stove crackles comfortably in the background.
In spring, there’s a wild garlic patch, and in summer, elderberries and other berries in our garden.
