Realistically I would rate this hotel between 3-3.5/5 stars. While it looked pretty nice and was clean, the bedding was very uncomfortable and coarse like sandpaper, fitted sheets also weren't the right size for a deep-pocket bed and kept pulling up and off. The soap (both in the shower and for the sink) was cheap and basically unusable because it didn't provide any suds at all. The AC was pointed directly across the top of the nearest bed making it like a fan blowing straight into your face, it also rarely kicked on throughout the night and anytime it wasn't on the room immediately felt hot. Lastly, the breakfast was a bit disappointing almost every morning with the lack of variety/availability of foods and drinks. If this were a cheaper hotel it would have been more expected, but at this value it was quite disappointing.

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times. Always love staying here. This last time our sheets were rough. This has never happened before. I did not ask for new ones because I didn’t want to complain. If this ever happens again I will ask to be changed. This will not stop me from coming back. I love this hotel in every other way.

I purchased 2 night stay stay and was extremely disappointed. I booked thinking I was getting a great deal. The pictures revealed an up northern cabin feel but the places needs major updates. Rooms are small, carpet was pulling. Staff was not friendly and found it awkward to have to walk past and get stared at as you enter, exit or to go to pool. I knew within 3 hours I wanted to cancel for second day and wrote to Expedia. I did not receive an answer and went directly to front desk to cancel. The front desk man informed me that because it was through Expedia that they couldn’t cancel, he would if he could on his end. I then asked directly, if I contact Expedia, would it then be okay to cancel, he replied yes. I contacted Expedia (did great with facilitating) they contacted the same front desk and even though 4 mins apart from my conversation, the front desk refused to cancel and refund remaining day. Now, I don’t understand why he didn’t say that from the beginning to avoid further stress, confusion and frustration. Furthermore, during my stay, there was children running the halls at midnight, drinking in the pool where people brought in a cooler. No oversight to ensure safety and make sure everyone was following rules. I do not recommend for you to stay if you are looking for a clean, up to date, respectful place that cares about the satisfaction of their customers. I will not return.
