Not a new building, but everything was clean, everything worked, the staff were friendly and efficient, the area safe with nearby metro access, grocery stores and restaurants. The room I had also had a full kitchen, which is a definite benefit if you're staying for a few days. The price was reasonable, and I will definitely stay here again if that is the case next time as well.

Loved everything about my stay here at The River Inn. The Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The room/suite was very spacious and comfortable feeling like a home. It’s literally 10 minutes from The Wharf which is the waterfront with great restaurants and fun nightlife. Very easy 30min drive to watch The Commanders (NFL). And they have complimentary bikes to ride around historic DC. Couldn’t have asked for a better bang for my buck.
