My first stay was as advertised. The front desk was warm and welcoming. My room was super clean and just what I needed for my visit. I really appreciated the extra security of my key card required to use the elevator. The proximity to museums and restaurants was perfect!! One more thing- since I was on a road trip, having access to a nearby parking garage made my stay simpler in getting in and out of DC.

Well maintained hotel (about seven years old) with micro-sized rooms: the bathrooms are full sized, but the living areas are tight. The restaurant is open until 3:00 PM, which is very handy: the food and service were excellent; ditto for the bars. A great value for singles who value efficiency and hip design, and for couples who like being cozy.

Rooms are very small and also if you get a room facing street side, it is going to be very noisy. But rooms are clean and they serviced it every day. Staff were very helpful.

We’ve stayed here many times and usually love it for the price and location, but this stay was a bit disappointing. There was construction that started at 7 AM on Saturday, and we were not warned about it beforehand, so it made it really hard to rest. The AC unit in our room was also extremely loud and clanky, waking us up several times throughout the night. They also had an employee event during our stay, so our room was never cleaned while we were out. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it would’ve been nice to be informed about these things ahead of time so we could plan around them. Overall, we still love the hotel, but this stay fell short of what we’ve experienced before.

The rooms were small but besides that loved how everything was within walking distance! So many restaurants nearby. The German market was down the street which was great! And the Capital one arena as well! Definitely recommend. Also, LOVED that they had a bar down stairs that closes late on the weekends!

Staff was plesant upon arrival and at checkout. Motto is a micro hotel so the room was small, but it was clean and overall a nice room. Would stay there again.

Overall , nice place to do an overnight for a quick trip. Room is NYC small , but this was a solo trip so it did not bother me at all. It had all the necessities to make my stay comfortable . The front desk staff was friendly and helpful , and my room was clean. The hotel is on a very busy street so there is a lot of noise . The room had a white noise to help drown it out , so that was nice . Overall , I would stay here again for an overnighter.

The room was spotless. Had enough bath towels, wash clothes, and toilet paper. The body wash and hand lotion was great. The scent was not overbearing. The room temperature was very comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful.
