Terrible stay

Could not sleep until 12 Am due to police sirens blaring and people hanging outside of our window. Food was terrible, most of it was cold, took on average 15 min between refilling of stations, and had no meat /pork free egg options. Even the coffee ran out. I’ve never been to a hotel and not be able to get a cup of coffee along with a “free” breakfast. We walked into a puddle of water before realizing and being told the pool overflowed into the guest room area on our floor. We had to ask front desk (and spoke with housekeeping manager) how we suppose to get back to our rooms without getting our shoes soaked. We were given plastic bags to wrap our shoes and walk over the water to our room.

My experience was truly a cut above the rest. This hotel made my stay super cozy, convenient and comfortable. From the floor to ceiling windows in my corner suite, the indoor pool, rooftop lounge, complimentary breakfast in the gorgeous lounge area and friendly staff I can’t say enough about my stay. The location is also convenient to area attractions by Uber/Lyft or Public Transit. The only sigh was the quality of breakfast on day two and three of my three night stay declined significantly. The options were extremely limited compared to the first night. There was also very little kitchenware in the suite. For example a pan but no pot and a stirrer but no spatula for the pan. Overall I recommend this location and would absolutely stay again.

Great hotel in a great location

Super convenient location. Steps from the Metro station. The Nationals weren’t in town but, at just a couple blocks away, I would imagine that would be a fun environment. Hotel was clean and the pool kept the kids entertained when it rained. Kids also loved the breakfast buffet.

We loved our stay! Our room was very recently renovated; new tile, paint, furniture, fixtures, everything. It smelled new and clean. The continental breakfast was fantastic. The Navy Yard metro stop is steps away and there's numerous restaurants close to the hotel. I'll be recommending this property to anyone I know who's headed to DC.

Debbie and Lauren were great! I had a couple of issues in the room. However, Ms. Debbie resolved everything quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, the pool was closed the last day/night due to an chemical imbalance (bm). Therefore the pool wasn’t ready until the next morn. Lauren provided us an extended stay for 2:00 pm checkout to allow us the use of the pool. Breakfast was great, staff professional, and location exceptional.. My son and I had an amazing experience 10/10 recommend!

Nice, modern hotel in great location right near ballpark and lots of restaurants, bars, and all. Service was great, nice spacious rooms, and good amenities. It is a bit of a stretch to call it a Capitol Hill hotel as it is not real close, but still pretty easy to get over there and good transit options right there.
