You must try Eaton DC

Had lived in DC area for 23 years. Never had a need to stay in hotels. Travel there often to visit family. Had not heard of this hotel. Was a very pleasant surprise from the moment I stepped foot into the lobby. Friendly staff to welcome you in. Room was contemporary and perfect for 1. Had a cool vibe overall. They have an important social and environmental message -- makes it even better. For the value, could not beat it. Great location. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

Just off Franklin Park near the McPherson Square Metro stop, this hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting D.C. The room I stayed in was very cozy and it was fun to have a working record player with a huge choice of LPs to enjoy plus books to read. The Baker's Daughter restaurant near the lobby was also excellent. While I did not try any of the wellness classes offered, there is always next time. Thanks!

Ok but…

Staff at the check in took long and has a bit too much personality and attitude. It’s not very nice. No real breakfast place. Only a $15 voucher to use in a coffee shop on the ground floor which is not enough + you need to add tip…Staff there is also not the most friendly. Rest of the hotel is good. Maid very friendly and doing a good job

What a gem! Love this "boutique" hotel in DC. The staff is very friendly and welcoming - always willing to help make your stay better! Breakfast and dinner options in the hotel were very good - and easy to walk to other locations if you desire. Will definitely stay here again!
