Check prices across all websites. The price ad was $99/night but we pd double. It was not worth that We had a pet room and not sure how much that contributed to our rooms musty smell and scratched wood. This bldg. is owned by the Silver Mtn. resort owners, but you would never know. It is old and smells as such. The rooms were clean (despite smell and scratches) and the beds were comfortable. Check in was good. The heater in the room was broken. When we arrived the heater showed 67 however, it felt more like 85. We tried to lower it to 60 and it didn't work. It got so hot that night we actually turned it off and opened a window. We left it off all the next day and returned to still find it warm despite it being in the 30s outside. When mentioned to the front desk lady she said she would have someone look at it. That night we continued to have problems and slept between sauna hot and freezing cold. There is no housekeeping (which was OK for us as we rarely use it however, they have 1 tiny trash can under the sink for 4 people with only 1 bag. There should at least be another in the bathroom. If they are not going to have service than they need to provide more trash bags. We ended up having to stack our trash in a pile next to it. The breakfast is continental. Orange/apple juice, blueberry or wheat bagel w/cream cheese, apples, oranges, yogurt, trail mix, nutrigrain/granola bar, and micro maple/apple cin. oatmeal. No plat or tables. Coffee was OK. No hot chocolate.

It really is a great place to stay and Ben is amazing at his job. He was very professional to a group of grumpy travelers getting us checked in really quick. The rooms have ample space and everything was clean. We did not have to go back to the counter for anything the room was well stocked for the four of us. Thank you for a great nights rest! Oh, the bad is the breakfast is very much a “continental” breakfast. The coffee was not out even a minute before the breakfast began. Folks want their coffee… Other than breakfast it is amazing.

The property is located adjacent to the I-90, and the room allocated faced the I-90 - the traffic noise was continuous and there was inadequate sound-proofing to allow for a restful night's sleep.

A good night’s sleep.

Just a one night stay. Pros: available, quiet, comfortable bed, lots of pillows, nice check-in person. Cons: just a breakfast “bar”. No eggs, sausage, waffle, etc. Bagels, yogurt, fruit, granola bars, that kind of stuff. No hairdryer in the room. Had to ask for one in the lobby but didn’t know about having to do that.
