Forest beauty!

My friend and I had such an enchanting stay at this beautiful home! The home is decorated with such beauty and care and we found the quiet and serenity we were desiring. It is close to the center of Waitsfield and also feels a world away from everything. Very comfortable beds and had everything we needed and more.

This house was wonderful!!! Large open floor plan with kitchen opening to beautiful family room with windows on all sides overlooking trees and wildlife. Large rooms, comfortable beds, and luxurious linens. Beautiful setting. Short 30 minute drive to Norwich University so this was an ideal location for us to enjoy our sons sporting events and graduation. Host was wonderful to work with and responded quickly when we had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable, spacious and bright!

The property and gardens were glorious! The house is privately sited, but close to shops, groceries swimming holes and picnic spots on the rivers. We loved that the house is full of light. It was a great idea having the bedrooms on the bottom floor to maximize the open-air feeling of the upstairs! We enjoyed cookouts and evening fires on the lower deck area. We have stayed in several rentals in the Waitsfield area and this was our favorite!

We have stayed in many places over the years - this is by far our favorite! The house is clean, comfortable and so nicely laid out! The gardens are lovely and the lawn was perfect for croquet, cornhole and slip and slide - everyone was very happy! Nice picnic area for grilling and s’mores at night. The bedrooms are all downstairs and very spacious - we all thought we each had the nicest room! Upstairs is the living area and it felt a bit like being in a tree-house as you looked out over the grounds, with a nice deck off the living roomfor AM coffee while listening to the birds! Near shopping, bridge jumping, river floating, and a lot of good restaurants/coffee shops, this was our second time here and we’ll be hoping to reserve it again next year. So much to do in the Mad River Valley!!It’s just lovely!

Nice large secluded house

We went for a ski trip to to Sugarbush and we rented this house. It was a large, spacious and rustic house, with a huge property. The host was great with communication. The internet was on and off, and she was on the phone with the provider at night right away! The only negative was that the pictures showed the house looking more updated than it was. The bedrooms have updated furniture, but the house is very rustic. The loft is really small as well.
