My family had a fabulous stay at the Carlyle — it was everything we hoped for: charming, delightful and full of character. From the lovely atmosphere to the thoughtful touches, it truly made our trip special. We’ll definitely be back to visit again soon!

Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It is easy walking to the Main Street. Helpful and friendly staff. The shower was a bit of a pain with low pressure and changing temperatures, otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful when answering my questions. Like very much liked the fact that they had fresh milk and not UHT. No key (pin entry) so contactless checkout was a plus.

Standards!

Having stayed here for many years, this will be the last time. The manager could not have been more helpful on arrival. Unfortunately there was no internet service and on our second nights stay , we arrived back to the room to find the fridge had not been restocked to make tea/coffee. Tiles broken in the bathroom did not really add to the ambiance either.
