About Breakfast ・I was happy with the ginger shot; it was my first time trying it! 🌟 The staff explained it to me! Thank you! ・I was satisfied with the quality and quantity. ・I requested in advance for an early check-out before breakfast, and they prepared two types of sandwiches, orange juice, yogurt, and a fruit, which was very helpful. 🌟 ・I didn't request it, so my room was on the second floor. Apparently, if I had requested a nice view, I could have gotten a room on the fifth floor with a good view. It was disappointing this time, but I'll do that next time! ◎The room was quiet and there were no issues with the facilities (I brought indoor slippers). ◎The staff (I spoke with two women and one man) had wonderful smiles and were very friendly. They made me very happy. 🌟Thank you!

The check-in and the staff were extremely accommodating and kind. Our room was beautiful, looking over the other historic buildings. The location was perfect, near the ocean and also near some wonderful restaurants. I would definitely, definitely stay there again!

Ok but nothing special

Despite what it says on Clarion's own website, there is no room service available. The "heart" of the hotel, the beautiful bar and lounge area, does not open until 3 PM. I ended up in a room that was so far from the entrance that I had to go through three different sets of stairs in different parts of the building just to get there. In general, everything felt understaffed. It was not uncommon to see trash lying around in the shared areas. This hotel is simply too big and gave the impression that cost cutting was far more important to the management than my experience as a guest. Don't get me wrong, it was an okay hotel (though probably not truly 4-star), but do not expect anything special. You could likely find similar quality for a lower price somewhere else. Tips if you do decide to stay here: - Do not bother with the app-based door key. For me, it sometimes took up to a minute to unlock the door after fiddling with the exact position of my phone. - Use the side entrance if you want to avoid being overwhelmed by heavy perfume every time you enter the hotel. - Bring your own toilet paper unless you enjoy the really thin, almost see-through kind.
