Great old house with amazing gardens
The location was very easy to find with clear instructions, and excellent communication at all times. We even had help from the owner phoning a local restaurant which was a nice touch.
The garden was beautiful and the little pond even had three turtles in which the kids loved. Swimming pool was also great.
The kitchen was well equipped and downstairs living area was large and very comfortable.
The only down sides were that the bathrooms were very dated and while everything worked, they were particularly comfortable. The beds also appeared to be well used and perhaps in need of replacing. Lastly, the listing said it included air conditioning when in fact it didn’t, which was disappointing over a very hot week.
Overall we had a great time but a few small upgrades in bedrooms and bathrooms would make this place amazing.
