This is by far the best vacation ever ! The resort is very well organized , transportation is efficient to and from the airport . Food options were always fresh and delicious . Staff is attentive and kind always. They went the extra mile to make things special for my birthday !

Let me start off by saying that I am not one to write reviews.I read every recent review in the weeks leading up to our trip even the ones posted the day before our trip. We got back yesterday so this is a really recent review. With that said, my family and I had a great time at the Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa. Yes, the seaweed is a problem. However, we knew that going in. It is everywhere in the Atlantic and NOT the resorts fault. They do a great job of removing it so I will not consider that in my review. For starters, Shirlanda and everyone at the concierge were excellent. It pleasantly surprised me that even when we checked out yesterday, they asked about our son by name and had only met him the first day on check-in. Attie and Maxwell at the Adventure Desk were awesome as well. As for the excursions, we did not get to do any thru the resort. Everyone we booked, did not have enough people so the resort could not allow us to book them thru them. Therefore, we had to hire a taxi, and pay for it and the excursions ourselves. With that said, it worked out better in the end. Even with hiring a taxi for a half day and a full day, we saved a little bit of money compared to what we would have paid thru the resort. In addition, we got a more personalized, private tour. We saw and did more than we would have done if we went with the hotel excursions. Everyone at the resort was super friendly and said hello in passing which was nice.

Lots of seaweed in the area made the beach connected to the property unusable for the duration of our trip. The hotel did have a 15 minute shuttle to a beach on the other side of the island to compensate so we could access a beach there, instead. Staff, accommodations, food, and activities are all great.

My stay at this resort was fantastic, workers were nice and very helpful with whatever was needed. Property was cleaned, Food in the buffet was not too great but there were many other options that you will be sure to find something you like. The workers in the property are amazing!! People like Solange at the Silk restaurant was wonderful- the food was great as well- very delicious!!! however before you book, if you really care to have access to the beach, ask that beach is open. We were there a week ago and the beach was full of seaweed, therefore beach was closed. We switched resorts in the middle of our vacation. Nonetheless, I can't speak enough great things about the staff at Coconut bay. They were very understanding that we came to this beautiful island to enjoy their beautiful beach and this resort did not have access to it during this week. Monica, Billie, they were all amazingly understanding and made it very easy for us to check out early. We were very grateful!!!

We had a great stay at Coconut Bay!! The staff was amazing and always a pleasure. The grounds are lovely and kept very clean. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had very restful sleeping each night! The food was really good too!! My only complaint, and this is no fault of the resort, is the beach. It’s full of seaweed and you cannot swim in it. This is a problem in the region and due to climate changes. I do think the resort should make it known that there is really no typical beach access that you would expect at a beachfront resort in the Caribbean. Luckily, we were able to take a excursion to a nicer beach. Overall, a great place and I would return!!

The staff was very nice. The property is a bit older but not terrible. The grounds were well maintained. The beach is awful-not their fault-there is an enormous amount of grass!! Beautiful views off shore. Food was very good! It rained most days but it was rainy season so it was expected. The rain did not interrupt our fun too much. I really liked the resort as a whole, but not sure I’d stay there again. I love St. Lucia but would rather stay on the other side of the island-away from the grass. This resort is not “high end” but we’re down to earth people so it was absolutely fine. I would recommend for those that would like to stay at a nice, reasonably quiet resort with friendly staff, and good food. If you want the beach to be great, this is not your place.
