Beautiful boutique hotel set in a fantastic location with a tube station literally beneath the hotel made travelling so easy. Our stay didn’t include breakfast and this was our preferred option as we wanted to explore Vienna’s coffee culture and just across the road we had Cafe Ritter, which was an old coffee house but more popular with locals than tourists which was a delight for us. We did eat breakfast in the hotel once and found it to be absolutely delicious with extremely attentive staff who looked after guests beautifully seeing to their every need. Our room was a deluxe room and was absolutely perfect, the glamorous individual styling made it feel homely but also stunning to stay in but with hidden tech it had everything a discerning guest could want or need, The hotel bakery Motto Brot is also a great bonus, we had filled rolls and a lovely cake( left on my birthday in our room as a treat) . We think the hotel is really outstanding and it really helped to make our stay in Vienna memorable and very special on my 65th Birthday celebration.

Very clean and super cute room! I will warn that the space is a little tight if you have too much luggage, but the space is beautiful, has everything you need, and a great location. Bonus points to Hotel MOTTO for having separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers when so many other hotels are cheaping out by combining all in one. Service was excellent and the rooftop restaurant is a must for the views and coffee!

Hotel Motto is the ideal place to stay in Vienna. The attention to detail, from the décor, to the wonderful restaurant and the amazing roof terrace, is very impressive. The travel instructions from the airport were very clear and in no time at all using the train and the U-Bahn we arrived right at the hotel door. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. We loved the atmosphere in the restaurant and found the menu to have plenty of options, including for a vegetarian. We hope to back in Vienna very soon and will definitely be staying in the Hotel Motto.

We loved our stay at Hotel MOTTO! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was gorgeous, and the hotel’s location was perfectly suited in the heart of downtown Vienna. I personally loved the bathroom in our Deluxe suit. The rainfall shower head was luxurious, and the bathtub was so elegant. We also adored our breakfast at Chez Bernard. I absolutely will be coming back here one day!

Brilliant hotel with the exception of the restaurant and bar. We tried the bar one night but were turned away as “too busy” the next night it was closed but we sat there and bought drinks at the restaurant bar ( had to carry them up the stairs ourselves. The “comfy” atmosphere in the restaurant is basically low level tables and soft chairs to eat from , very uncomfortable and so close together you could join in the conversations over the tables nearby. The waiter was offhand and inattentive. As we ate there the first night nothing would have persuaded us to repeat the experience. The rest of the hotel was exceptional though.
