AC was listed as an amenity when I booked this property. I’m not sure if this was a host error or an Expedia error but this unit does not have AC. Ty listing now reflects “portable fan”. There were portable fans in each bedroom but none in the common areas (kitchen, living room). We needed to open windows to allow a cross breeze but there was no breeze. Also, there were no screens in the windows so we got bit by mosquitos the first night. We did not stay for our second night. It was just too uncomfortable. The main bath was not draining well. The second bath is through a utility closet that wreaked of dirty mop odor. The decor is a step back in time which we found interesting but overall we would not recommend this unit.

EXCEPTIONAL. The apartment is fabulous. Very spacious for our family of 6. Clean, tidy and quiet. Great location. Brilliant! There are some steps to get up to the apartment and no lift, so those with pushchairs or limited mobility, it may not be the place for you. From start to finish, communication with Benedetta from VeniceVillas was outstanding. She also went above and beyond and messaged us restaurant and supermarket suggestions. I highly recommend.

Live like a local in Venice

Amazing stay in a great location in Venice. Felt like a local. Great space for a family of 5. It was bigger than our first house! Nice and quiet. Would heartily recommend! Communication was to notch from the Venice Neighbors. Easy to get to from train station or canal.

Traditional beautiful apartment

Checkin was at the apartment and very comprehensive . Carlotta was friendly and helpful . Apartment in good area , close to supermarkets etc lots lovely restaurants . Apartment beautiful with lovely Venetian decoration . Large bedrooms with comfy beds . 2 spotlessly clean bathrooms . We didn’t cook as kitchen not very well equipped but it would have been possible . Only negative is that the sitting room has just 2 comfy chairs so other people sit on hard dining chairs . On the whole very good and would return .
