In this case, the pictures are much better than the reality. While the front of the hotel matches, what you would expect, the lobby furniture looks dated and used. However, my main complaint is with the room. Wow there is certainly nothing. Nice about it, I would say emphatically. It is the worst bed. I can remember sleeping on. It was rock hard… Almost ridiculously so. Very disappointed, as it’s hard to enjoy your vacation when you don’t have a good night sleep

I got assaulted by a worker and the hotel didn't do anything. The workers were not professional and they would try to touch you when talking. The staff at teh restaurant extremely unprofessional. The roo. They didn't change the sheets. I ask for iron for two straight day and nothing. Afte many complaints they give me one. Staff would make face when they see me and my wife. I wanted to call the police for the assault and they say they would take care and they didn't. I feel unsafe and respected.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, except for the position of the room! We were offered the 8th or the 11th floor at check in and opted for the 11th, thinking about the views….. That was the wrong decision as we were next to the gym and roof terrace. It was really quiet until very late when some people decided they wanted to find the terrace and bounced around the corridors, shouting, whistling and even singing, seemingly oblivious to the fact that there are bedrooms on this floor too and that the gym was closed. So my advice is to avoid the 11th floor! Other than that, the hotel is lovely, the room clean and the staff at reception were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is in an amazing position for visiting the old town, with plenty restaurants, shops and bars surrounding it.

This was a repeat stay for us, having had a wonderful experience last time we stayed at Melia Plaza. On this visit however, neither my husband or I could sleep due to an ongoing, loud, reverberating, wooshing noise coming from above. Sounded like it might have been due to an air conditioning unit on a rooftop or something of the sort. Hard to tell whether it stemmed from the poroperty or a neighboring building, but either way we could not sleep as a direct result. The hotel staff attempted to be accommodating and did move us to another room The disruptive sound diminished to come up wasbut we could still hear the noise to some degree period despite the staff's attempt to rectify the problem we enforcing will not be staying at the property again unless this issue is fixed all together his truly unfortunate
