Nestled amid the greenery of the Berici Hills, Ai Due Gelsi is a charming 50-square-meter apartment on the first floor of an elegant 19th-century manor house built of Vicenza white stone, recently restored using eco-friendly construction methods. An authentic place where you can rediscover the rhythms of nature, wake up to the sound of birdsong, and enjoy the beauty of the Veneto’s rural landscapes. Perfect for those who want to relax, explore art trails, and experience life in close contact with the land. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation.
The property features a private entrance that ensures maximum privacy, with the added benefit of the owners’ discreet presence in the same building—they’re ready to offer you a warm welcome and assistance whenever needed. The view is breathtaking: it stretches from the Berici Hills to the Lessini Mountains, the Vicentine Little Dolomites, and all the way to Mount Baldo (Lake Garda). Guests have access to a splendid 130-square-meter flower garden shaded by centuries-old mulberry trees, equipped with chairs, a small table, wooden lounge chairs, beach chairs, and an outdoor shower. The true gem of the outdoor space is the private natural swimming pool: a man-made pool that exactly replicates the setting of a natural lake, with living water capable of self-purifying without the need for chemicals (e.g., the chlorine used in traditional pools), through the process of phytopurification carried out by aquatic plants. Water from the basin continuously flows into the phytopurification tank through two small waterfalls, so our soundtrack is now the sound of flowing water, as if there were a little stream. The interiors are cozy and well-appointed: a spacious sleeping area with a double bed (single mattress and memory foam pillows) and a queen-size sofa bed, a living area with a desk and armchairs, and a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, cookware, dishes, and all the accessories needed for a completely self-catering stay. The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a shower, towels (bidet, hand, and shower towels), and organic personal care products.
The property can accommodate up to 3 people, with the option to request a camping cot with a mattress and linens for young children.
To promote sustainability, the house is powered by a solar panel system and places great emphasis on organic and biodynamic farming. A washing machine, iron, and drying rack are also available in a shared utility area on the first floor.
The property offers multilingual hospitality: the owners speak English, French, Spanish, and German, making your stay simple and enjoyable even for international guests.
