The accommodation was neat, tidy and well presented, and we appreciated that it was dog friendly.However, there was a noticeable musty, damp smell throughout the property, particularly in the kitchen and bedroom, which impacted our stay. Even after airing the place out, the odour lingered, and we needed to purchase air fresheners to make it comfortable. The bedroom cupboard also had a strong smell, so we avoided using it for our clothes.Additionally, when sitting outside, we were often affected by cigarette smoke from neighbouring properties on both sides.It’s a shame, as the property itself was clean and otherwise enjoyable, but these issues did detract from the overall experience.
