Great old hotel, easy check in at the bar. Spacious room with verandah was clean, quiet and comfortable with simple but very adequate breakfast provided. Excellent meal in the restaurant downstairs. A chair or 2 in the room would be a plus.

Great low cost stop over

A nice quick stopover as I was travelling. Friendly country service. Just got the billing situation muddled up but we resolved. I hope the flooding doesn’t impact the hotel.

The hotel felt right as soon as I walked in. Lovely old pub, with stylish decor. Comfortable bed and an old world feel to the room. Tea & coffee etc and fridge in the room was a plus. One suggestion would be a table on the common area with a toaster and microwave would be beneficial.

The room has three windows but only 1 blind, others without curtains so when people walking around the balcony can see everything through and there were lots of insects in inside the bed because the motel is next to the river, but the stuff was friendly gave us an insect spray, by the way, no Aircon only fan for hot summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed the serene atmosphere in and around Ulmarra, complemented by the warm hospitality of both the hotel staff and the local community. The hotel room and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and I had a great time savouring a beer with pizza at the bar while watching our favourite game, cricket.

Not for older people. Room was Tiny - no hanging space. 26 steep staircase.with no offer of assistance for 89 and 92 year olds. Poorly maintained. Should not be included in Expedia advertising for older staff. Reception staff not available for check out. Tariif far too expensive for what was offered. I will hesitate before using Expedia again. Evening meal expensive.
