Beautiful experience. Me and my friend of 20 years were able to get away for a quick girls trip. The cabin was perfect for us. It was easy to unload our stuff and the view is spectacular. We hiked to the light house and we even snuck down to the beach one night and captured the Milky Way! 10/10 would recommend!

Great place to stay!

The view is absolutely stunning and the hot tub is a bonus, just wish the tv in the living room would be in the bedroom as the couch is not comfortable and so we struggled watching something after a long day outside. Otherwise, really great place. Would def recommend.

Quiet get-away

We had great views, it was quiet and peaceful. Wonderful little hikes almost right outside the door.Having a hot tub was a nice treat, it kept us warm as we watched the weather roll in.

Escaping the heat of Texas in Ucluelet.

The property description states private hot tub. It is private to the property; however, it does not have privacy. The view was spectacular and we did enjoy our stay. The cabin provided easy access to the walking trails and the unit is just steps away from the beach.

Great vacation!

I had a great vacation with my wife without the kids! Really enjoyed the location to the sea, the walking trails and of course the hot tub. One request would be to have some beach towels available and maybe a couple yoga mats.

Lovely!

The cabin was ideal. A stone's throw from the beach and perfectly nestled in the forest. The hot tub on the deck provided the perfect place for watching the storms and enjoying the rain. The only thing that caught me off guard was the close proximity to the other cabins, I didnt pick that up from the photos. However, everyone on the property was very respectful and quiet so you hardly knew anyone else was next door.

Comfortable and Cozy

The Morning Mist is a comfortable and cozy cabin nestled in the trees with a spectacular view of Terrace Beach and the sunset! We would recommend walking along the Wild Pacific Trail which is right outside the door.

Exactly what we were looking for

A simple, but beautiful little cabin overlooking a lovely cove. The space is small but very cosy for two people. Very nicely equipped kitchen, and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, teas, hot chocolate. Best feature for us was the hot tub on the patio, especially in the evening during a storm! Great coast walks close by, and about 15 mins walk to town. Host was very communicative and accessible. Not a cheap place to stay but we will for sure stay there again!

Just what we needed

Communication with Bryan was great right from the time we booked until we checked out. He checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there but it was never too much, we really appreciated that. The cabin was absolutely perfect for my partner and I and our 2 dogs, there was enough bedding, extra blankets and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We ended up using the pullout couch so we could wake up to the incredible ocean view just outside our door. We took full advantage of the hot tub on the deck, it was perfect morning and later in the day. The trail to the beach was right outside our door which made it so convenient and it was only a 30 second walk to the beach so that was perfect. The lighthouse trail was beautiful and a bonus that we could walk there as the entrance was so close to the cabin. Town was close enough to walk but we drove, it may have taken 20/25 minutes to walk. Overall we had a great time, felt extremely comfortable in the cabin and would definitely re book with Bryan if we go back!!

Amazing!

Everything about our stay here was incredible. Walking distance to trails, a beach to explore just steps away, and amenities just a couple minute drive. Bryan checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and was quick to respond to any questions. The cabin is outfitted with everything you need, right down to the little touches to welcome our pup (thank you!). Nowhere else I’d rather stay next time we’re back!

Exactly what we were looking for.

We honeymooned all across Vancouver Island 10 years ago and wanted to find a cozy, convenient, low-key spot to return for our anniversary. This was perfect. Clean, cute, incredible view, relaxing hot tub, well equipped kitchen, pet-friendly, and walking distance from town and the Wild Pacific trails. Great communication with the owner/manager, including a helpful heads up about some road construction that could have thrown our schedule way off. We felt instantly relaxed and at-home here, and hope to return (much sooner than 10 years this time).

Great little getaway spot

We really enjoyed this little cabin. My husband loved laying in the hottub looking out at the ocean. It’s a few quick steps to a beautiful beach below and a short drive to amenities like restaurants and shops. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had what we needed but we didn’t cook a meal just coffee and breakfast. I would recommend this cottage.

Peaceful Retreat

What a fabulous place to stay. The cottage is compact but had everything we needed to be comfortable. The view of the ocean and the nesting eagles was memorable especially when viewed from the hot tub in the pouring rain. The host was very responsive and provided timely assistance when a small issue arose. The property is steps away from the Lighthouse loop of the Wild Pacific trail and a short car ride from the other trailhead locations- definitely a trail worth walking. We truly appreciate that this property allows pets as our dog loves to travel with us. A hose or rinse off station outside the cottages or a larger doormat would have been welcome for our happy, muddy and wet dog but we managed with extra towels we brought from home. We would definitely consider future stays.
