Cabaña pintoresca pero sofisticada ubicada en la costa oeste del hermoso lago Donner. Nuestra casa de 3 dormitorios + loft tiene una cocina luminosa y actualizada, baño completo, patio privado y está cerca de toneladas de divertidas actividades al aire libre.

En la planta baja encontrará la cocina, las salas de estar y una habitación de matrimonio. Arriba, está el dormitorio principal con una cómoda cama king-size, otro dormitorio con dos camas individuales y un completo, y el altillo abierto con dos camas individuales.

En la planta baja, el patio privado tiene una hoguera a gas, así como una barbacoa de gas, ¡perfecta para toda la tarde asada!

En el frente, tenemos un cómodo porche con dos mecedoras y un patio delantero con una mesa de picnic para cenar.

Durante su estadía tendrá acceso a nuestra lavadora / secadora, Wifi, una habitación para tres autos estacionados.

Los servicios de conserjería están disponibles a través del Colectivo Tahoe Cohost.


OTRAS COSAS A TENER EN CUENTA
Tenga en cuenta que vivir en las montañas y quedarse en una casa privada significa que hay algunas cosas que no siempre podemos controlar. Por ejemplo, el clima y las duras condiciones han dejado sin conexión a Wifi y al poder. Si bien estas instancias son lejanas y escasas, le pedimos que sea paciente, ya que estas son cosas que desafortunadamente no podemos controlar. Si bien intentaremos atender todas las solicitudes, manejamos los reembolsos para situaciones como esta (cortes de energía, cortes de electrodomésticos, etc.) caso por caso.

Nos encantaría recibir no más de 2 perros bien educados en nuestra casa durante su estadía. Hay una tarifa por mascota de $ 75 que cubre hasta 2 perros.


MESES DE INVIERNO
Queremos asegurarnos de que nuestros huéspedes se sientan cómodos en su viaje hacia y desde nuestra casa (especialmente en los meses de invierno). Nuestro equipo le proporcionará rutas alternativas a considerar durante los meses de invierno para ayudarlo a llegar a su hogar de manera segura. En el caso de circunstancias atenuantes, como cierres completos de carreteras durante más de 4 horas y otras situaciones incómodas, estaremos encantados de trabajar con usted para resolver los problemas con su reserva y asegurarnos de encontrar una solución favorable. Great cabin on the Lake and close to skiing!

Great neighborhood and great house!

This house has everything you need for your stay. The fenced backyard was perfect for the dogs. We also met so many friendly neighbors on our walks. The location is great for access to many trails and we also enjoyed time on the public piers along the lake! So much fun! Will return.

How awesome? I was sitting at the table next to a giant window when.... Shock and awe... a mama bear and three cubs passed between this and the neighbor's property, but for the window, they were 5 feet away at 6:30 AM. How cool is that? That's old Tahoe cool.

Perfect Family House

House was exactly what we expected. Walkable to the West End of the Lake. Perfect for toddlers (ages 3 and 2….we know we bring the danger lol) Host replies super quick. We will be back next Summer!

Wonderful family spot

Our family of 4 + dog had a wonderful stay at Caternia's cottage. It was very clean and well stocked, and we had plenty of room. Having stayed in a lot of rentals over the years, I appreciated the quality of the items- thick fluffy towels, a well stocked kitchen, and even a cordless vacuum for quick clean-ups. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!

Amazing Cabin and Location

We continue to rent this cabin and enjoy every visit. The owner is amazing and so responsive and kind. The property is well maintained and has an amazing backyard and a perfect location. We are already talking about our next visit. Love this place!

Charming and sweet cottage

We had the best stay at the Donner Lake cottage. So well decorated, cozy, the softest sheets and so close to the lake. It was a perfect stay for our family of 4! Thanks again!

We continue to come back - great cabin!

This is our third visit and we always have an amazing time. Great cottage, well maintained, easy and great communication with the owners. The location and enclosed yard makes it the perfect spot for us. We will be back again soon!

Great Cabin Near the Lake

This cabin is incredibly clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is friendly and very fun to walk around. We brought our dog with us on the trip and the cabin was perfectly set up to accommodate pets.

Cutest Cabin in Donner

This cabin is darling. Furnished impeccably & immaculately clean. The whole thing has a loving touch that is hard to miss. We had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation to the fullest. Cat & her management team are extremely helpful and accommodating. I hope to stay here again and again.

Great Cottage!

This cottage is so great! Very clean, looks just like the pictures, and very comfortable and cozy for six of us! Although it is small on the outside, the inside has the perfect amount of space. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs and the fire pit and BBQ did not go to waste! Cat was incredibly helpful and communicative before, during and after the trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this place

As others said, this place was so cozy and lovely! I was looking for a place where I could stay for a few days to get some work done without distractions, and this place worked out great! I felt super safe even though I was alone with friendly neighbors close by. And I loved it so much I also can’t wait to come back with family and friends!

Fabulous thanksgiving getaway!

This adorable cabin is so modest from the outside and yet offers so much more than meets the eye. The inside is open, spacious and cozy. The fireplace is the centerpiece of the home, encouraging relaxation and peace. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and had everything you would need and more! The rooms have large, comfortable beds and provide a nice flow to the space for multiple guests. The bathroom was spacious and clean and provided a ton of clean towels as well as a washer and dryer. And the back yard, even in the winter with snow, was the perfect addition to the cabin for those with dogs who need to go outside when you don’t want to take them for another walk! The neighborhood was charming and friendly. The Memorial Park just minutes away is one of the prettiest places we have ever been to walk with our dogs. There were dogs everywhere and so many families. Downtown Truckee is paradise. Every place offers unique foods, baked goods, coffees and of course all of the amazing local shops. We got a large percentage of our holiday shopping done downtown and all the gifts are special. For those who fish, the area couldn’t be better. So many areas to access the Truckee river and Little Truckee that don’t require long arduous hikes. Our 2 teenage boys, my 76 year old mother, and my husband and I loved our stay (as did our dogs.) We were very sad to leave and cannot wait to come back to this wonderful getaway. Cat, the owner, was super friendly and helpful and made me feel like I was renting from a friend. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. This cabin a gem.

Truckee Getaway

I had to travel for a meeting during Covid and was nervous. Caterina made this experience smooth and reassuring. Beyond that, this place was the perfect getaway. Nestled in Truckee, we enjoyed the location and coziness of the cabin. The decor was very calming and relaxing with backyard space for our dog to enjoy some play in the snow. Can’t wait to come back this summer and enjoy more of this place.

comfortable home near Donner Lake

This property has the charm of a cabin and the comforts of a home. Clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for folks to stretch out. Best stocked kitchen - plates, cups, cooking knives, pots, pans, etc - that we've been able to enjoy on a VRBO getaway. Communication with the owner and property management team was quick, efficient, and service oriented. We'd definitely stay here again.

Mountain Oasis

The decor stood out to us when we booked - it is very charming and well thought out and we were pleased to find it even better than expected when we arrived. The place is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Our teens enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and sitting by the fire pit. When we had questions - Cat was always super responsive. Highly recommend. We look forward to returning soon!

Great little getaway during self- isolation

We really enjoyed this lovely small cabin. It was great for a small family (two adults, a toddler and our dogs). The property manager was so lovely and easy to communicate with. The place was clean and it also had air conditioning, which is a MUST during the summer and especially hard to find in Tahoe. The location is right near the lake, but we opted for small getaways by car nearby to deserted and isolated other lakes and forests. You can find a pretty secluded spot on donner lake itself if you find a place early enough in the morning but since we were a 5 min drive from one of the beaches we'd go in the morning and late in the evening and that worked for us. Would come back here again!
