3 things you expect when you book a hotel. A sleep . A shower . Cleanliness . We got none of the 3 at this hotel !!! If you like to listen to the conversations of the people next door till after 2am and no soundproofing - book this hotel !!! If you like not getting a shower as no hot water in the morning - book this hotel !!! If you like finding big hairs belonging to someone else while standing in your shower - book this hotel . If you then complain to Expedia , request a refund and they then get no reply from the Hotel …despite numerous attempts …then book this hotel !!!! Am about to escalate to Expedia mgmt and my bank …to get my money back. Oh - also no info in advance to advise the hotel is being refurbished and your room might stink of paint …. A disgrace !!!

Lovely rustic building with an interesting interior that suits the location it is situated at. The location makes walking anywhere very easy. There's a good breakfast menu, which you should definilty book while making the reservation (11€) as asking for the breakfast upon arrival will cost more (16€). The staff were super friendly upon arrival and throught the stay. Overall a pleasant time.

Hotel Sercotel Alfonso VI is right by the Alcázar de Toledo, 4 minutes walk to the Plaza de Zocodover where all the tour groups seem to converge, and 5 minutes to the Toledo Cathedral. We came in via Renfe from the Railway Station, and we recommend taking a taxi to the hotel as it’s all uphill complete with stairs on cobbled streets should you decide to take the 24 minute walk. We checked in early to room 519, with a panoramic view of the city from our balcony. The room was big, spacious and quiet despite the hotel’s proximity to everything. The washroom facilities and the towels really need updating. All in all a very good stay!

Great location in the center of the old city, ypu can walk everywhere. There is a lot of steep streets, so wear comfortable shoes. Reduced parking available at three garages near the hotel. Hotel was just what we needed, a place to crash for the night after exploring the city all day. Great shower. We slept double in one of the huge twin beds.

Disappointing

Amazing location, and lovely room, but noises carried inside the hotel so I was kept awake through the night. The breakfast should have been good, but food items were not kept topped up and only one coffee machine was working.
