Pleasant stay with some shortcomings

The bed was very comfortable, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly & helpful. However, there was no privacy in the room, which had huge windows onto a common lawn and anyone walking past could see in. It was inappropriate to close the drapes during the day and net curtains would have solved this issue. Curiously, everything in the room was too short - the clothes rail, the drying line, the ironing board and even the shower curtain that meant the water from the shower flooded the bathroom floor. The room servicing needed more attention to detail, for example, the puddle in the bathroom was ignored, our mugs were not cleaned on the first morning, and the milk was not replenished on the second. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant place to stay with beautiful surroundings

Location is excellent. Accommodations facilities food onsite are clean and a little dated. Although every accommodation in this area is pricey I will chance another place or camp before I would pay this price to stay here again, too underwhelming given the options.

This is an okay hotel. We liked that it had a hottub which was very clean and very big with a view of the ocean. The grounds are beautiful and on a beautiful beach. The hotel room was clean and very basic. We felt the price did not match to the room quality.

A beautifully maintained property with spectacular views from each room of a gorgeous stretch of beach. The breakfast included was delicious and a welcome bonus. This stay was a return for us after 15 years, and we hope to be lucky enough to have another!

It was my birthday and I got a lovely birthday card and a gift from the reception team. So thoughtful! We had a great stay. Room with terrace, so we could walk out of our room straight to the beach. Wonderful! Great restaurant, delicious food, helpful staff. Would book again!
