We didn’t have hot water the first day of stay, no one mentioned that the water heater was off and had to be turned on, I had to figure it out my self.

The condo was clean and relaxing. We had a leak in one of the bathrooms that the host didn’t fix. The whole tower needs some work, there’s a lot of things that weren’t functioning and people kept on throwing stuff into the kids pool. The door handle came flying off as were trying to close the sliding door to the balcony. Not all elevators work, so you’re limited to 3 or you have to take the stairs. It’s a little frustrating when you pay to have a resort like experience and the pool is closed or you have to deal with a big puddle in the bathroom.

Not the best experience
This was my second time staying at this property for my birthday but this time around wasnt so good. First we noticed a few flies in the living area & some bugs crawling on the ceiling. We noticed that we only had big towels but no wash cloths. The handle in one of the showers was very loose & broke & my friend got cut in the process. We also had no hot water ! I contacted the owner to let him know so someone came to try & fix it but no luck so we were not able to take any showers because the water was so cold. It was very inconvenient for us.

Anniversary getaway
We reserved this property for our 20th Wedding anniversary. The view was breathtaking and the property is beautiful. We loved listening to the waves, it was so calming and relaxing. The pool and spas were wonderful and unit is very spacious for a family of 5.
The only issue we had was with our small family dog that we brought on our trip. During our reservation it was stated this property was pet friendly and we paid a $50 pet fee, but on our 2nd day when we tried to walk our dog on the property we were told we were in violation of HOA rules and would be fined $50. We brought this up to the owner Omar and he apologized for the confusion. From what he explained this property is not technically pet friendly to visitors, only property owners can have pets on the property. After discussing our agreement with VRBO and the property rules, we were allowed to keep our family dog inside the unit only and we were not fined. Omar stated he would refund us the $50 pet fee due to the inconvenience and misunderstanding.
* at the time of my review refund is still pending.
Overall, Omar was great at answering all of our questions and concerns during our stay. It’s a beautiful place and we would love to visit again.
