4 Bdrm Home- Great Outdoor Space-Perfect for Family Gatherings

We love this house. We've been here for over 30 years and we love it even more as our family continues to grow. It's comfortable and unpretentious and it is our favorite place to be for family gatherings and summer pool parties.

Our 4 bedroom home has lots of light and great outdoor living space. It's a perfect house for relaxing with family in any season. Have a bar-b-que at your own private resort in the secluded backyard and warm up after your swim or hot tub in front of the outdoor brick fireplace. Or, cozy up to one of two indoor fireplaces during the colder months.

The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a comfortable family room with flat screen tv and fireplace. A sliding door opens onto the pool area and extends the living space. There is also a living room with a fireplace and Steinway piano, a dining room with seating for 8 and a table on the back deck that seats 8.

The master bedroom has a full bath (with shower, no bathtub), king size bed, tv and private deck. Two of the bedrooms are separated from the rest of the house by a room with washer/dryer, a pull-out couch and computer. These bedrooms have their own full bath (bathtub and shower) and a door leading to the pool area. Another bedroom has a trundle bed and is across from a full bath (shower, not bathtub).

You will be a 5-minute walk away from the beautiful bayside Tiburon bike path. Follow the path for two miles and you'll reach downtown Tiburon with great restaurants, stores and ferry boats to San Francisco, Sausalito and Angel Island.

The location of this house is perfect for exploring San Francisco, Marin, Hwy 1 and the wine country.

Very Nice

I was there on business, with my Epileptic Son and my husband joined me to help. The property is very well suited for a large group of people who like to cook and lounge by the pool. Great views of the bay. I think that the bathrooms need upgrading. This property is not for the elderly or people with disabilities. Extremely well provisioned. The owners are just wonderful and extremely helpful.

Fantastic

Sheila’s house is absolutely lovely. We had been before so knew it well. Sheila was excellent at keeping in touch and even let us check out after the agreed time as the cleaners were not due in until later that day. Fantastic family fun

We enjoyed our stay so much! The space itself is a true gem; the pictures don't do it justice so be prepared to be awed once you check in. The small touches throughout the property made us feel right at home and the owners were responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Wonderful property

The house was beautiful and in a great location to explore San Francisco and the surrounding area. The pool was nice after a day walking our feet off in the city. Kitchen was nice and equipped enough for a group our size. The front deck view was an unexpected bonus, we were out there every evening watching the moon rise. All in all a great trip.

Beautiful home!

Lovely home in a beautiful location. We were away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet could access everything we wanted to see by car or by ferry. Sheila was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions we had throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding, and the abundance of outdoor furniture and umbrellas fostered relaxation poolside or out on the front decks where we could watch the fog rolling over the hills or the sailboats coming in and out of Richardson Bay. Just be prepared for hills and steps as virtually nothing in this city is on flat ground!

California Bound!

We rented this property for a mini family reunion. We had family traveling from England, Massachusetts and Maine. The house was wonderfully set up for different family units living in the same home as it basically had two separate bedroom and bathroom areas, so each group had come privacy and could get away from one another. House had both a large comfortable common area adjoining the kitchen, where we spent most of our time if we weren't outdoors, and also a more formal living room and dining room. The outside areas were wonderful and we used both the deck that overlooks the bay, Sausalito and Golden Gate Bridge and the pool and spa area. The owners obviously love their home and it was fully equipped and well cared for. We were there for a short unplanned power outage due to the wildfires and unexpected high winds. The owners were very responsive to our needs; making sure we were OK along with helping us revise day trip plans and providing us with flashlights and lanterns. Couldn't have asked for better people to rent from :-)

Great, comfortable property with amazing views and very responsive owners to questions. One hiccup with the pool and hot tub heater not working and they had the pool company there the next day to fix it. Highly recommend this spot.

Fabulous Vacation Home experience!

This rental vacation home was the best my family of 9 have ever experienced. Beautiful, well kept home fully stocked with everything you could need or want including a fully equipped kitchen (with the exception of your own food and beverages). Furniture throughout the home was sturdy and comfortable. Every room was lovely and inviting. The porch and decks provided outstanding views day or night of the Bay and Golden Gate bridge. The outdoor patio with swimming pool/hot tub, several different seating areas, gas grill, fireplace and flower gardens provided welcome respite for all of us. This home is centrally located and convenient to stores, restaurants, ferry station, Mill Valley and Muir Woods. The owner Sheila was a joy to work with. Friendly, and accommodating, she provided us with everything we needed to know to make our stay as smooth as possible. Thanks Sheila for everything. Wonderful week!

The house was perfect for our extended family vacation, plenty of room to be together when we chose and to escape on our own when we needed quiet. We enjoyed the location - it was a good base for Muir Woods, Napa Valley, ferry rides over to the city and a beautiful quick walk to the water on the Old Rail Trail. We particularly liked all the outside spaces; we ate most meals al fresco. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus. It felt like a home, not just a rental, we enjoyed the personal touches. We highly recommend this special place!

Perfect Family Getaway

Perfect location, everything you will ever need (literally EVERYTHING. Except can cozies- we found ONE thing missing, lol). Our multi-generational family had plenty of space and was able to enjoy San Francisco, Marin destinations, and then retreat back to the house and enjoy grilling by the pool. The perfect combination of adventure and relaxing, all accommodated by the perfect “home base”. Cannot rave about it enough. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Wonderful Vacation Home in Tiburon!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this large, beautiful and well located home in Tiburon. From the front porch and rooms, including the very nice master suite, is a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Watching the bridge and the fog coming over the hills every evening was very relaxing, as was the hot tub! The house is light, bright and airy with several living areas and plenty of room for our family to spread out. The large kitchen overlooking the pool area was more than sufficient for cooking, and it was very well stocked with every utensil and spice you would ever need! The master suite is separated from the other bedrooms by a sitting room that has the w/d. The rear bedrooms have a large bathroom to share, and another bathroom with shower is in the hallway. Plenty of room for everyone. The owners were communicative and we did not have any issues at all. It is an easy home base for going north like we did to Stinson Beach and Point Reyes, as well as going into the city by ferry. Tiburon and Sausalito have wonderful restaurants and fun shops, with plenty to do close to the house. We highly recommend this house for your vacation in the Bay area!

This home was perfect for our 4 couples. We had an awesome week here. The home has a great layout with a perfect family room and outdoor area where we spent some so much family time. The location is a great central point for exploring the city, Muir Woods, and wine country. The owners were very available and accommodating. We could not have had a better time on our first visit to California.

The house has lots of space for a large family to gather, but also is laid out so that people can all have some private space. House is well equipped and the pool area and decks are added bonuses. Close to many attractions and easy to get into the city either by ferry or car. Great neighborhood, very quiet. An easy walk to playground and trails along the water. Restaurants and shopping close by. Would recommend to families and groups looking for a comfortable base from which to explore San Francisco and the neighboring counties. Owners are communicative and helpful.

Perfect spot for a dispersed family to gather

We try to unite the family (children, their spouses/significant others, and grandchildren) around the Christmas holidays, there are usually 10 of us. This home in Tiberon was PERFECT. We had enough space for family meals together and enough nooks to find a little privacy when needed. Ms. Plunkett went out of her way to be sure the house was well stocked and equipped with basics and then some. The hot tub was a big attraction for all ages. We had a wonderful week in a gorgeous home with plenty of area attractions to keep everyone happy. The kids are already telling us they want this home to be our model when we start looking for our 2018 Christmas spot. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Great Home in a great location

This home is just lovely. Accommodated 8 adults with no problem . Quiet upscale neighborhood . The bay views are amazing . Enjoy drinking coffee in the morning on the deck over looking the bay seeing the Golden Gate Bridge was breath taking. The outdoor fireplace was such a treat to sit and socialize around in the cool evenings. Close to all tourist sights. Not a problem to get from point A to point B. Fantastic location if You are looking for a relaxing time outside of the city yet so close . Exploring Sausalito, Tiburon, Mill Valley right at your door step. So happy we had the opportunity to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our time . We recommend this place to anyone considering this home . It is a very lovely, cozy home providing such a relaxful environment which is exactly what we needed !! Debra
