Pet friendly clean and beautiful. Had a fantastic time sleeping with water running right outside. Did some fishing just relaxing enjoying the water. If you didn't know thinking you're in the mountains. It's 5 miles from my houses and well worth the stay. Great getaway that i didn't have to go far. Felt completely away from the normal work eat repeat highly recommended

Thomaston Trip

The best vacation rental we have stayed at. The property was well maintained and clean inside and outside. All the commonly used items were well stocked. We enjoyed being creek side drinking morning coffee and 5 o’clock somewhere margaritas. Kayla and Joel are awesome hosts!

Beautiful spot on the river

Fall was the perfect time to enjoy this getaway. Even though the river wasn't flowing as normal due to dryer conditions, you could still here and see some of the flow. Sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings was extremely peaceful. If you are ever in the area this is a perfect place to stay.

BEAUTIFUL PRIVATE GETAWAY

The little home on the creek/river is beautiful, peaceful and very private. We slept amazing and then to awake to the beauty/sounds of the creek while having coffee to start our day. We will be staying here every time we go to Thomaston!

Great getaway!!

We stayed at this cabin to be close to our kids an grandchildren. The cabin was lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing. Our dog came with us, and he had a blast walking on the rocks in the creek and playing with the owner's dogs. We definitely will be back!!

We came down from Ohio to visit my brother and we could not have asked for a better place to stay!! It is cozy and relaxing plus you cant beat the quiet and peacefulness of the creek flowing! We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back!!

Total 5star stay, deducted 1star ab chk-in procedure only because the listing run by a management company at time was not up to date and not only time we've had prob w/ Vacasa run stay. Owners were nearby & solved the problem. This home is comfortable w/ everything needed & the view of being rt on Potato Creek makes one want to stay home, so peaceful, 5 star stay! Norris Fine Foods in Thomaston is a good all you can eat place. If a smallish appetite, chk-out their servings for day & ask for DIY take-out weighed by the lb. Might save you a cpl $$. We'd stay here again & highly recommend it. Aloha, Jahnys n' Stan

Most peaceful place ever!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for the New Year's weekend on 2022. We wanted to spend some quiet and peaceful time; and this place was a little peace of heaven. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived because the cabin was actually more beautiful than in the pictures.( and very clean, which we loved) This is the place to stay if you want to experience the beauty of nature combined with peace and tranquility. Can't wait to visit again.

Breath Taking, Peaceful and Clean

Beautiful property with peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was adorable and cozy. It had everything you could need. The host/owners were so nice and hospitable and their dogs adorable. It was just two of us and our dog. The only thing I would change is the couch downstairs, it doesn’t really allow for 2 people comfortably, if you’re hanging out inside and don’t want to be in bed. Maybe a bench style couch? Otherwise, just a perfect place to get away and disconnect!!!! Definitely recommend!

Creekside serenity

Kayla and Joel are wonderful hosts. Their property is beautiful, peaceful and tucked back away from it all. This is a wonderful place to ‘just get away from it all’ yet easy to get to outdoor adventures and local places to eat. If you are thinking about staying in the area, look no further, this is the place you are looking for.

Nice cozy property by a river!

This was a nice cozy property that sits along a river stream. The view was nice and the sound of the stream was very relaxing. Kayla the host was very friendly and we communicated over text messaging. The owner lives on the premises next door which made me feel safer being in the woods. My only suggestion is upgrading the furniture. Thank you Kayla for a nice stay! My only concern was dealing with the Evolve Team that manages the booking for this property. Before and after I made the booking they were not so responsive and avoided answering my questions in regards to cancelllation policy. The property listing states it's refundable but the Evolve Terms & Conditions doc states it is not. They only answered my question after the timeframe for cancellation had passed. Before booking they also told me to login to the portal to submit any requests, however you can't log into the portal until you've made the booking! I feel it may be automated responses that come through the chat inbox than actually dealing with a person. This was not convenient. In the future I won't be booking a property managed by the Evolve Team. Please note the above concern is no way to be reflected negatively towards the propety owner! We had a pleasant stay, thank you!
