Great property but the noise and traffic are horrible. Drunk people puking in the street. The city of Thessaloniki has the most cramped roads and lack of parking I have ever seen. Drove around for an hour to find a garage far from the hotel.

Great Hotel in Great location

Suite hotel in great location for visiting Thessaloniki, close to the centre, shopping and lots of restaurants. We had a great room for 3, large and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This review is based only on what I consider to be terrible customer service. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the hotel for to COVID, but the hotel took full payment and didn’t even acknowledge two polite emails that explained our situation. Appalling treatment of customers and sheer greed under the circumstances.

Not quite a boutique hotel

it's not quite the fancy boutique hotel it wishes to be but it’s overall ok. The room had a decent level of comfort although it did not seem properly kept up. Arrival is confusing as the reception is hosted in a not very nice-looking hotel next door, and the receptionist was not too interested in providing info on my stay. Therefore finding the free parking turned somewhat in a nightmare. For your info, the latter is located inside the harbor area. The neighborhood is noisy, I would rather avoid it next time.

We used Diamond Suites as our home base when hiking Olympus as we had to catch the bus there and back from Thessaloniki. The staff was very accommodating with our check in and check out times, holding luggage and helpful with time tables. The room was clean and spacious for 3 people and the breakfast buffet was much appreciated! Perfect for our needs and very close to downtown.

Not quite the standard we expected

Difficult to access with car as is in lane way. Surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants, but also bars and nightclubs. Pretty platia but immediate surrounds had abandoned buildings. Need to go up flight of steps to get to lift, and then once in entrance, need to go up 2 flights of stairs to access the bedroom. Very difficult with 4 suitcases. Staff quite friendly and at reception during most hours. Breakfast was poor, definitely not as pictured. Very little offered and not much variety. Most of the savoury meals are made with bacon or ham and no good to me when I'm vegetarian. Hardly any options, we skipped breakfast one morning and opted to eat out as we had to check out earlier. Bedroom was large and accommodated the 4 of us well. We had the Princess suite with 2 sofa beds. These were very hard and uncomfortable, children couldn't sleep on them. Extremely loud at night and we were staying mid week. Kept up all night with little sleep. Side curtain blinds not working and there is some wear and tear around the room, door knob came off etc but readily fixed. Bathroom large enough and adequate. Personally I would not recommend this hotel for a family at all, and overall, our stay was not enjoyed for the reasons stated above. We opted to stay at The Met for another night which far outways this hotel in many ways (pools, quality amenities and facilities, first class breakfast, shuttle bus, etc), and it didn't cost much more. Sorry, won't stay here again.

Stylish, small hotel close to the harbour

We were looking for a chic, comfortable boutique hotel stay during our two days in Thessaloniki, and Diamond Suites absolutely delivered. Our room was well-appointed with an extremely comfortable king size bed, and the bathroom was gorgeous (complete with jetted, claw foot tub). The location, a five minute walk away from the harbour, is excellent. The included breakfast was also lovely, held in a beautiful room with a large variety of dishes that we were told are all prepared in-house. The staff truly went above and beyond for us on the first morning - we had arrived very late the previous evening and the hotel staff offered to send selections from the breakfast up to our room, complete with cappuccinos, for a very reasonable 5 euro room service fee. We'll definitely stay here again if ever we find ourselves back in Thessaloniki.

Lovely small hotel, vibrant area

Got a good price for this place and was very happy with our five night stay in February. We stayed in one of the top floor suites and it felt very luxurious and spacious expecially since we were only 5 minutes walk from aristotelis square. My only complaint is that there were some areas of wear, the grouting between the bathroom tiles was stained and some of the tiles were poorly fitted and a few of the blinds on the Windows would not go up. Otherwise, I couldn't have been happier, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious and had local specialities and we had a great stay.

Nice accomodation for decent price in centar

Diamond Suites are perfect accommodation in the centar of Thessaloniki near the main street Leofors Nikis and Tsimiski ( which are full of restorants,bars and shops). We got room number 102, it was perfectly decorated and with plenty of space , there was nice and comftable bad, big lcd tv with few english news channels and many greek ... (there wasn't any music channels like VH1 or MTV). The bathroom was also nicely decorated, big, clean and equipped with everything. ( we also got the hot bath hub but we didn't use it). About the heating... there was nice central a/c system but it was too loud so I turned off during the night) Breakfast was good but nothing special, ( the coffee was terrible). Conclosuion...it's a nice choose for a few days stay in the centar of Thessaloniki where is very hard to find modern, clean and hotel with decent price. For the one that are comeing with car... in just 100 meters from the main entrence in the suites there are many private parkings. I recommend the one at the Port which is open from 07 till 10 in the evening and the price is 1.3 euro/hour or the one in front of the Hotel Mediterranean Palace which is smaller and the price for 12 hours is 10 euro ( I think that it is open 24/7).

Pleasant experience overall

Very convinient location, the hotel's staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the room we stayed in was in need of two bed side lamps because if you needed light ,there were only the ceiling lights and sometimes, that was too much.
