This house probably has the prettiest view of the lake, but this house is very cluttered and dirty. VERY dirty! The owner did refund us very generously, but not generously enough. I had told her I would be okay for paying for one night of our three-night rental, but we still paid the equivalent of two nights. On top of all the uncleanliness and clutter, there was a mouse running around downstairs. It also climbed up on top of the sink and left its little droppings everywhere. We were excited about the paddleboards and pedal boat. The paddleboards were COVERED in Goose poop (the host did come and clean them off for the first day), and the pedal boat had an ant nest in it that was too large to clean out. We didn’t get to use it. The hosts do try to be good hosts. They furnish some snacks in a bowl on the counter. They furnish some laundry starter. They are nice and kind people, but this house needs straightened up and cleaned out. It is as if the house is actually lived in by someone and they just leave when someone rents it. There is stuff everywhere! The highlight of our stay was actually the people of Blue Springs Marina. They are so very nice! I am attaching photos.
