The setting is beautiful but the many issues with the house made it hard to relax and enjoy it. I would not stay here again for the price paid. The cell service is working about 25% of the time, making it difficult to communicate with the host and with fellow travelers. A power outage lasted for several hours and caused the microwave to stop working. Bathroom layout is very poorly designed. The primary bath is not as described – the primary bathroom does NOT open to the hallway. Due to the house layout, 6 people staying in rooms 2, 3 and 4 have to use the same shower.Some things in the house do not work properly (hot water, garbage disposal, dishwasher and since there is no fan in the primary bathroom, the smoke detector goes off after someone takes a shower). Water in shower never gets hot.Hot tub use is 100 per day and I was told that once it is turned on it must be paid for the entire week. However, it cannot be turned on from the house – it is necessary to contact AvantStay and request it be turned on; however, the cell service is rarely working so it is difficult to send a text to request the spa be heated. And even after it is turned on, it goes off after a couple of hours and you have to try to send another text to get it turned back on. It took several hours to get it turned back on when requested due to “waiting for the IoT department to do a Wifi reset”.
