Lovely apartment.

The address of the apartment was given as number 35R.The actual address was 35A.After the initial embarrassment of pressing the wrong appt.access button,we met with the owner, Martine,who was very pleasant.The apartment was very well equipped and in an ideal location for exploring the area,and there was a good variety of restaurants.

Great little apartment

The apartment in Santa Luzia is ideal for singles or couples. The village is beautiful with lots of restaurants and small local bars. The apartment it’s self if small and compact but fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed if firm but comfortable enough. There is a small enclosed garden without any view but your only a few strides away from the front with lovely views of the harbour and fishing boats.

The apartment was superb in a lovely location, it had everything we needed for a relaxed, enjoyable break. Parking was easy & lots of restaurants in walking distance along the waterfront & also in the many squares within the town.

Santa Luzia

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable little apartment. It had everything we needed for our one week stay. Location is great for walking around town and checking out the local sights. Praia do Barill is a beautiful beach. We were able to take advantage of several attractions in the area in several different locations.

This property was very well equipped and extremely clean. The kitchen had all the equipment required including a washing machine, dishwasher and coffee maker. The terrace was really attractive and private. It had sun loungers, a large umbrella, table and chairs and a barbeque. Unfortunately due to the heat we were not able to make the best use of the terrace. When we booked we had thought that there was a separate bedroom and did not realise the accommodation was a studio. There were no photos showing the full space and the specification talked about the bedroom. If we had realised there was no separate bedroom we may have looked at alternative accommodation. Saying that we had a great stay and loved Santa Luzia.

Perfect for 2

The apartment was clean, comfortable and close to everything. Modern fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and cosy bedroom and living room. The outside patio, with Lemon Trees and bbq was delightful too. Our host was very helpful and suprised us with wine ,water, milk and fresh bread. Overall we had a great time. Definately worth a visit again.

Great for a short stay

'Chic' Studio Apartment in Santa Luzia

We are frequent visitors to the lovely fishing village of Santa Luzia, and found this charming studio apartment to be very comfortable with ample space for two. Modern, clean and well equipped, it has a good practical layout. It was also nice to have the convenience of the well furnished garden for relaxing in the afternoon sun. Although in a quiet location, the apartment was handy for the village amenities such as cafes, restaurants and ferry to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay, and meeting Celine who is a very welcoming and friendly host.

Great little apartment ideal for a couple in this beautiful, peaceful Portuguese town.

The apartment was great - clean, comfortable and good facilities in a really good location for the beach and travelling further afield. It would be ideal for a couple and we can’t recommend the area enough. Beautiful beaches and restaurants and nearby towns to explore. It’s also great for travelling further afield to Spain and other parts of Portugal

Lovely modern, apartment in a great location

We stayed 6 nights in this lovely, modern, comfortable apartment. It is quite spacious for a "studio" and has a completely modern and extremely well equipped kitchen, full bath, comfortable living area with sofa, coffee table and entertainment centre as well as a spacious, private garden. It is tastefully decorated, and immaculately kept. We found the location to be perfect for seeing Tavira (a very few km to the east) and the wonderful beach of Barril as well as for exploring the surrounding countryside. Santa Luzia itself is a jewel of an original fishing village, that has not been spoiled by the resort and tourist development we found to be so prevalent elsewhere along the Algarve coast. We would not choose to stay anywhere else if we returned to the area.

This was our first time in Santa Luzia and loved the area.

Although the fishing village is small, there are MANY fine restaurants, some of which specialize in octopus. Delicious! The beach and the larger area of Tavira is easily accessible by walking or biking. There is also public transport if you don’t have a vehicle. Small grocery stores are right in the village. We loved our apartment. It was cozy and comfortable; very modern and with all the amenities! The outdoor area is lovely and private as well, with a great barbecue. The owner, Céline is close by and offered her assistance should we ever need her. Set up was easy when we arrived as all instructions had been included in her home description. We used the car service which was perfect, as well. We were happy here and would gladly return.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet, sogar ein kleines Starterpaket. Die Vermieterin war vor Ort und konnte ein kleines Malheur beseitigen. Die Wohnung hat kein getrenntes Schlafzimmer. Es wurden Strandtücher und Schirme zur Verfügung gestellt. Klimaanlage und Schirm auf Terrasse sehr vorteilhaft.
