This is a oldish dated accomodation, with limited parking onsite. Another guest had keys which also gained access to our room . Bathroom light switch also turned on the extractuon fan which is noisy too .

Late booking

Left our booking too late for V8 Supercars in Taupo so had to settle for what we could get. This accommodation is more of a backpackers than a hotel/ motel. Ran out of hot water this morning so a very cold shower. Next time I will book sooner

Window decor could do with an update especially in the lower level rooms around the courtyard area. I my opinion, blackout curtains would work much better as it appears the outside lights are left on all night! Guests departing at 5am need to be mindful of other guests who could still be sleeping and perhaps depart in a manner that avoids waking these guests. Carrying a bag rather than dragging it through the courtyard and down the steps would be a better decision!! On a positive note though, the rooms were very clean and staff friendly

No airconditioning. Quirky after-hours doors and limited site communication. We noticed one guest who inadvertently locked himself out of his room with his key and phone left in the room. He ended up sleeping in the hallway because there was no way to contact the desk agents.
