Wonderful vacation home

We had a wonderful stay at this house for 6 nights. The pool is awesome with nice views and the house nice with AC in all bedrooms. We enjoyed breakfast in the outdoor covered area every morning. Bathrooms have been updated. The hostess was very welcoming and left us a basket with fruit, bottles of water and a bottle of Prosecco. This was very much appreciated since we arrived late and did not have time to go the supermarket. We would definitely come back again.

Uninhabitable Property and Poor Host Communication

Our stay at was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We encountered several significant issues that made our experience very unpleasant: 1. Severe Ant Infestation: On the second night, we discovered a severe ant infestation throughout the property. Ants were everywhere, including our living spaces and personal belongings, making it impossible to stay comfortably or safely. Despite providing video evidence, the host downplayed the severity and only offered to send a cleaning service the next day, which was inadequate. 2. Poor Communication and Rudeness: The host requested that we communicate via WhatsApp, and despite our immediate and clear attempts to resolve the issue, the host was dismissive and rude. When we asked for a refund due to the uninhabitable conditions, the host accused us of looking for an excuse to leave and refused to acknowledge the seriousness of the problem. 3. Inadequate Amenities: The property provides only one towel per person, which is insufficient for a comfortable stay. Additionally, it was not advertised that guests cannot flush toilet paper, which is a crucial detail that should have been communicated upfront. Overall, the property was not as advertised, and the severe ant infestation, combined with the host’s poor communication and dismissive attitude, made our stay very uncomfortable. Despite our best efforts to resolve the situation amicably, the host and Vrbo refused to issue a refund. Vrbo doesn’t protect their customers.

We ended up not staying here.

We arrived early and while waiting for the home owner to arrive, my Mom fell on the uneven ground of the property and injured her shoulder. After viewing the home with the homeowner, we decided it was better to go and stay in Siracusa by a hospital to get my Mom checked out. Therefore, we ended up not staying in the home. I would only recommend this home to someone who is accustomed to rustic living. The 2nd bathroom is outside with a curtain, for example. Also, the hot water situation is a little complicated. The home is old and could use some updating. There was a very strong musty smell that may be able to clear out if you open the windows, although there were so many mosquitoes that you really shouldn't do that. It does have plenty of room outside though so it would be great if you have a lot kids in your group. The owners were very nice. It was a shame to lose our money because we opted not to stay, but in hind sight, we were much more comfortable at the hotel in Siracusa.

Beautiful location!

We were a group of 9 people (kids, adults and elderly) and we had a fantastic time in this villa. The swimming pool is accessible for kids but also for older people with mobility issues. The garden is spacious and offers plenty of space to play. There are many tables, chairs and lounges to enjoy the outdoor area. Regards to the Villa itself, the only downside was the kitchen and bedrooms were a bit small but otherwise perfect place. Don’t miss the sunsets by the pool! Location is excellent for nearby beaches , have to visit the Oasi Gelsomineto reserve, it doesn’t have any Lidos so bring your own things , has a bar for water and some food and toilets. The beach is fantastic crystal blue shallow waters not to be missed. Avola is closest town and has lots of supermarkets and a lovely square where you can enjoy an ice cream or an aperitif. Also close to the Villa at Fontane Bianche there is a panificio that has the best cornetto for breakfast! I would definitely recommend to stay here, hopefully one day we will return.

Beautiful villa in Fontane Bianchi

We enjoyed our stay at villa in Fontana Bianchi very much. The place was spotless clean and our host, Carola, was very accommodating, professional and fast to respond. As a surprise she filled te pool for us, which is usually not in use at this time of the year (beginning of November).she gave recommendations where to eat and shop, greeted us personally and was there during the check out. Previous comments mentioned the second bathroom be located outside the house. This is not true. It was recently renovated and is a very modern, stylish and cute en-suite bathroom accessible directly from the master bedroom. Since we were only 4 (2 adults 2 kids) we mostly used the second bigger bathroom which is also new, modern and stylish. I wish we had come earlier (end of September beginning of October) to take full advantage of the outdoor and pool area, but we knew before it would be too cool for swimming and didn’t plan on it. I can highly recommend staying here, even for bigger groups, there is plenty of room and tons of things to do and see in the area. Thank u for a wonderful time at your house.

Villa magnifique et la superbe piscine est un vrai plus ! Avec les bons conseils de Carola, le top !

Maison idéale pour 6 organisée en terrasse, avec une très agréable piscine en contrebas. A 250m à pied de la plage qui est une vraie plage italienne donc très privée ! Mais la villa est tellement agréable à toute heure. Elle est aussi très bien placée pour visiter la Sicile baroque : tout est à moins de 90min en voiture. La villa est très bien équipée (tout sauf lave-vaisselle) er il y a des petits commerces à moins de 900m. Enfin Carola est très reactive et en même temps discrète un plaisir. A conseiller les yeux fermés.

Maison très agréable et bien équipée

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle maison, à 2 couples et 5 enfants. L'espace est suffisant et la maison est bien équipée, propre et la literie est confortable. L'extérieur est parfaitement entretenu et les différentes terrasses permettent de profiter de tous les moments de la journée: Petit-déjeuner au soleil, déjeuner à l'ombre... La mer est accessible à pieds à seulement 5 minutes, et le village le plus proche est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture, où l'on trouve tous les commerces. Peut-être la salle de bain à rafraîchir. Merci à Elio pour son accueil et sa sympathie.

très bien, au calme, avec une belle vue apaisante

Très belle semaine à deux dans cette belle villa au grand terrain arboré et ensoleillé avec une jolie vue sur les montagnes et à seulement 250 m de la mer par un petit chemin. Calme absolu. Enchanteur. Coin très tranquille et résidentiel de Fontane Bianche. Gentillesse d'Elio, très bon accueil, il parle très bien français. Maison fonctionnelle, nombreuses terrasses extérieures. Peut-être la salle de bain à améliorer mais ce n'est pas vraiment l'essentiel pour nous. Je recommande fortement !!!! Sylvie

В доме обычная икевская обстановка, кровати удобные , На кухне есть все необходимое, обедать удобно на открытой террасе - это самое красиво в доме)) нужна машина, в деревне - на другой часте ( в горку) есть супермаркет - там оч доброжелательная семья, вкусные колбасы , своё оливковое масло, но большие магазины надо ехать мини10; до моря 5 минут пешком , красивый пляж, The house is not very big , the beds comfortable, the kitchen has the necessary utensils , the most beautiful and dinner in the house is terrace , there are tables, chairs, and a very beautiful pine . You need a car, the village has a good supermarket , but there are few products . On the territory there are pomegranates, lemons, and Basil .
