The 2010 newly built apartment is located directly on the Rantumer Düne. It is only a 2 minute walk from here to the beach. The apartment faces west, so you can enjoy wonderful sunsets on the large terrace. A beautiful beach chair is available on the terrace. Furthermore, it is equipped with a wooden table with 4 chairs. In front of the terrace is a small lawn bordered by a typical Frisian wall.
The apartment has a large living-dining room with a built-in kitchenette. The kitchen has a microwave, 2
Plate stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. The bedroom has a double bed and a spacious built-in closet. There is a flat screen and a DVD recorder in both the bedroom and the living room. In the chamber there is a washing machine with dryer for your laundry.
The bathroom has a rain shower and a large mirror across the entire width.
The entire apartment has underfloor heating. A parking space belongs to the apartment.


Sauna and swimming pool: There is a public beach sauna within walking distance.
Another public sauna is in the village hotel with a beautiful indoor swimming pool with a view of the Wadden Sea, which can be used for a fee. The village hotel is also just a few minutes' walk away.
There are also sports and various wellness offers here, so that nothing is missing.

Eating and drinking: The legendary restaurant 'Zanzibar', also located in rantum, is only 5 minutes away by car. Here you can eat and drink excellently in every season. The Söl'Ringhof is directly opposite the holiday complex. Here a 2 star chef cooks for you. But there are numerous other places to stop for a bite to eat in Rantum.
If you also like to eat at home, the village shop in Rantum is at your disposal. This also offers fresh bread rolls and the latest newspapers in the morning.
There is a bus service to explore the rest of the island without a car. The nearest bus stop is only 100 meters away.

Die Wohnung liegt genau zwischen 2 Häuserblöcken Somit ist der Blick Richtung Düne verbaut. Das Interieur hat dringend eine Überholung nötig. Vieles ist teilweise abgenutzt, nicht mehr gut und sollte dringend erneuert werden (Couch komplett durchgesessen)Das einzig Gute war das Bett im Schlafzimmer, die große Terrasse und der sehr kurze Weg zum Strand.Kochutensilien sind ein Sammelsurium aus verschiedenen zusammengewürfelte Teilen und sollten dringend erneuert werden. Leider gibt es weder im Wohnzimmer noch in dem Schlafzimmer Deckenlicht. und WLAN wird nicht angeboten. Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Rantum allerdings dann in eine andere Unterkunft.

Rantum-Whg. mit kleinen Schwächen

Die FeWo war insgesamt in Ordnung. Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz. Allerdings fehlten einige Ausstattungsmerkmale, die heute eigentlich zum Standard gehören, wie z.B. WLAN. Der Esstisch hatte sehr schmale Abstände der Beine, die ein bequemes Sitzen einschränken. Es gab keine Deckleuchten im Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer, dort waren nur Lampen mit Steckdosenanschlüssen vorhanden, d.h. nach dem Ausschalten waren die Räume dunkel und die Orientierung erschwert. Die im Inserat hervorgehobene Aussicht wird durch die Bestandsbebauung älterer Häuserblöcke links und rechts der Terrasse eingeschränkt.

Leider ist der Blick zum Sonnenuntergang verbaut. Das Sofa ist wirklich durchgesessen und unbequem und sollte ersetzt werden. Sonst war es ok!!

Gemütliche kleine Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Leider ist die Küche sehr klein und ohne Ofen, so dass man nur im Notfall kochen kann. Alles in allem ist es aber eine schöne Wohnung die sehr gut gelegen ist.

Schöne Wohnung in Strandnähe

Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter schnell, unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Wohnung ist auch mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen. Wir sind ohne Auto angereist. Der wunderschöne Strand und die Dünenlandschaft laden zu Spaziergängen ein. Die Wohnung selbst bot von der Ausstattung alles, was wir brauchten. Lediglich Sektgläser haben wir für uns vermisst. Der auf der Terrasse stehende Strandkorb müsste allerdings etwas überholt werden, da er an manchen Stellen defekt ist. Wir mussten außerdem nach Entfernung der Schutzabdeckung die Sitzflächen zunächst gründlich reinigen. WLAN ist hier nicht verfügbar, war uns aber auch bekannt. Die Umgebung bietet Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in fußläufiger Nähe.

Die Beschreibung der FeWo entspricht dem, was wir vorfanden; das ist ja nicht immer der Fall. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Hilfreich fänden wir, wenn man in der Wohnung eine Information über die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe zur ersten Orientierung vorfände, und eine Teekanne haben wir vermisst. Ansonsten alles o.k.

Tolle Wohnung in bester Lage

Die Ferienwohnung ist geschmackvoll, schlicht, modern und ansprechend eingerichtet. Es gibt alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist optimal. Wenige Meter (vielleicht 200m) zum Strandaufgang (Weststrand) und sehr nah zur Wattseite. Wegen der Lage hat man morgens zum Frühstück keine Sonne, dafür aber abends bis zum Sonnenuntergang. Die Bushaltestelle nach Westerland ist sehr nah (weniger als 5 Minuten); man braucht kein Auto. Westerland und Hörnum sind sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. In der fußläufigen Umgebung gibt es einige gute bis sehr gute Restaurants.
