This lovely one bedroom ground floor flat is in the village of Mumbles and is an ideal base for enjoying some of the best spots Swansea has to offer. It’s close to Underhill Park, which has a nice grass section as well a children’s play area.
You are a short walk from the main promenade that takes you right along Swansea bay all the way down to the Mumbles pier which is one of Swansea's most visited places.
Beautiful beaches, bars and restaurants are all within the Swansea Mumbles area. This is perfect for a nice romantic getaway to enjoy the stunning nightlife Swansea has to offer, or a base to explore the local area. Close by you will find a selection of beaches to enjoy like Caswell, Langland, Rotherslade and Swansea Bay are all just a short distance away, most in walking distance.
Langland Bay beach is family friendly and offers a great range of facilities. It holds both Blue Flag and Seaside Awards and explorers can enjoy the coastal clifftop walk around to Caswell Bay.
The property is self-catering and all on one level, so access is good if you have trouble with lots of stairs. There is a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. It is surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroom flat and has a lovely cosy feel to it.
The lounge has a 2 seater sofa and a single arm chair, as well as a smart TV where you can enjoy a selection of freeview channels or log into your own Netflix/Prime account. There is a small courtyard out the back with a table and chairs so you can sit outside if the mood takes you.
If you have a slightly larger number of guests, the upstairs maisonette is also available for booking on this platform. Please check its availability before you book if this is a must!
There is no parking at the property, there is a pay and display car park opposite, as well as various car parks in mumbles. Please check with the council for pricing.
So whilst in the Mumbles area, why not jump in your car and head over to the Gower. There are many days of fun and scenery to be had here as well as some of the most breath-taking beaches in the world. Rhossili is regularly voted in the top 10 best beaches in the world and the walk down to Three Cliffs Bay is stunning in itself.

Thought it was great on the whole, although there is no information concerning parking or possible car parks and no information concerning recycling and rubbish disposal. The TV connection was also playing up and we contacted the company but had no response at all.

Unfortunate stay
Our stay in September was spoilt by the strong smelling mouldiness and a very musty smell. The property had not been cleaned properly for sometime with mould around the front bay window and woodwork was also mouldy. Under the bed was a thick layer of dust.
Also we had problems with the water heater continually going off. Our attempts to have all this rectified were dealt with in a very poor manner. We were promised a partial refund weeks ago and this has not been honoured by Stay Gower. It appears we are not the only ones who have had both of these same problems in this property.

The property was fine if a little “musty” however the bed was absolutely great . The kitchen implements were very basic and the oven was incredibly slow to attain temperature.
On the whole it was fine and the siting was great .

Places was luvly but problems with the boiler had to re boot it everyday so no hot water to start with and would have appreciated some toilet roll basic thing!! Also just some milk etc nothing provided
