Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great time. We love Surfside Beach. The house was in a great area for us. We loved the pool. But three things. One the parking for three cars is not the best. The trees could be trimmed down a bit. Two those floors could use a good scrubbing! Well maybe not now my 14 month old son cleaned them up pretty good. His feet were black. And three I did call and ask if we could have a golf cart, and we could but there was no electricity on down stairs to charge it.

Great week in Surfside Beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Surfside Beach and Sandy Beach made it memorable! The house, location and amenities were great. The twinkly lights hanging around the pool were a nice, fun touch (the pool light inside the pool did not work but the twinkly lights provided enough light for night swimming). The wifi was not working when we arrived but a call to maintenance had Tim over solving the problem super-fast with a friendly attitude. We did a fair amount of cooking and found the kitchen to be well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the private pool - when we first arrived, we thought it looked a little small but upon checking out other pools in the area, it was on the larger side and was just perfect for the 7 of us.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was an OK stay. Property is in a decent location and was clean. Beds were not that comfortable. I had to call Maintenance 3 times to get the outside lights around the pool fixed. We didn't get to use the pool at night for 2 nights waiting on repairs. Huge disappointment to my kids. We also had Palmetto bugs bad. We were ok with our stay but will try to find a different house if we return. Also, if going avoid downtown Myrtle Beach, we parked in a paid parking garage and had two vehicles broken into with personal belongings stolen.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in great location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants/bars. However, we were supposed to receive a text from Garden City when property was available which we never received. Finally used code and went in. Main floor of house constantly smells musty. Smell comes from locked closet that houses elevator. Several beds need new mattresses. Kitchen needs new pots and pans. Had issues with WiFi for days. Multiple TV's did not function properly and house not very clean. There was garbage under the couch in the living room! Pool filter barely moves any water in pool so debris just sits in pool. We have stayed here before but probably will not again.

I have never left a review before, but for a $5000/week house, this one was not it. Upon arrival we noticed that the floor was dirty. We have a one year old, and his feet and legs were black after being on the floor for a few minutes. The windows and doors were pretty dirty also. I seemed like the house had not been cleaned. The tables in the dining room and living room were dirty also. The toilet seat in the main bedroom upstairs was falling off. The house was just not up to standards for this price, and to not allow pets... We had to leave our dog with someone for this trip, we kind of expected a cleaner house. The pool area was nice though, and the owners did have someone out to fix the Wi-Fi on a Sunday, so we appreciated that.

Reviewer Comments: I think your staff should put clean sheets on the beds not just leave them wrapped up in plastic after a long day of travel we want to shower & lay down not strip the bed to make it up. The wi-fi kept going out the cable guy did come out. The pool was dirty & no utensils there to clean or skim. There was a drawer full of clothes so how much cleaning is really being done and someone left a bottle of shampoo in the shower again how much cleaning is really being done?

It met all of our needs as well as had a pool. Had an issue with the cleanliness of the pool called the maintenance department for the rental property and they said that they would send someone out 2 days later still nothing I called and spoke to someone else and the problem was fixed immediately. My issue isn’t with the property but more with the property management company. Again it was an awesome house and I would definitely recommend it. Just hope that nothing goes wrong and you have to call property management.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at sandy beach! Everyone in my family was very comfortable and accommodated, house is very spacious. However a few things could make this house even better. Appliances need to be updated,fridge door stays open and leaks water, pots and pans are very old, couch was comfy but very stained as well as the rugs upstairs. Mattress were ok but could definitely be better! Overall we had a great time and would stay again especially if these issues were addressed! Also we were disappointed there was no tiki bar by the pool as pictured :(

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had an overall great experience at Sandy Beach. The home was spacious for 7 adults and 1 toddler. The home is a reasonable walk to the beach and public access. Because the home is located on a quiet street that allowed for privacy in the backyard and pool area. The only negatives we have about the property is we were not provided a pool skimmer to clean the pool from debris and bugs. We also felt like the property had a good amount of bugs outside and would recommend that the management group spray for mosquitoes and roaches. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this home.

I do have to say the place was not cleaned very well this time which was disappointing and kind of gross but as for the rental itself; we love it and plan to stay there again in the future.

Great location just a few issues

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have vacationed at this beach many times. On this particular beach trip it was our daughter and her husband and 5 grandchildren. The house was in a great location and the pool was wonderful. Upon arrival we checked in at the office to get the door code and other pertinent information for the stay. When we arrived at the house the code would not work. We had to call the office and they unlocked it remotely and said they would send maintenance to get it resolved. Maintenance never showed or called us back. I called maintenance the next day and the code they gave us never worked. They gave me a temporary code until it could be fixed. The next day I decided to check the code prior to locking the house to make sure it still worked. It didn’t work and I had to call maintenance again. This time they resolved the issue. The next issue was the dryer quit the second day. They sent a repairman out and he said it was 15 years old and worn out. They then told me that it would probably be at the end of our stay before it was replaced! Grant it, we had 4 adults and 5 children and no way to dry towels. They never offered m extra towels until I requested them. I also requested a monetary reimbursement for the inconvenience and said we couldn’t go all we without a dryer. Needless to say, my wife was livid!! We never complain, but the reality company was not helpful resolving this problem until we got firm with them. I’m not blaming the owners, but the reality company should get this resolved ASAP instead of not following up. The next issue was a squirrel chewed through the satellite wire. That is understandably unforeseen. The vacation was great , but the issues could have been resolved without us having to demand they get fixed!They did get everything fixed, but it would not have been fixed unless we complained and requested compensation. I blame the reality company for lack of follow up. The owners should look at a different property manageme
