The host has thought of everything to make your stay easy and relaxing. Very comfortable and well equipped on an absolutely stunning property. It was quite cold during our stay so we didnt get to dnjoy much of the outdoor amenities but the river access and chairs to sit and tajen in the scenerybalong with the outdoor fire area and deck would be sublime in warmer months. The ONLY surprises we had were some train noise at night (but sound machines and ear plugs were provided) and lack of wifi or a tv (which we probably wouldn't have even noticed if the weather had been warm because we would have been outside). Not deal breakers by any means; this is a fantastic place to stay and would 10/10 recommend it!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Yurt on the Clark Fork River. The setting is absolutely beautiful and perched above the river with peaceful Montana scenery in every direction. Waking up to the sound of the river and enjoying coffee while looking out over the water was such a relaxing way to start the day.The yurt itself was spotless, spacious, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed and felt warm and inviting the entire time. It was the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and spend quality time. In the evenings we played games, talked, and just enjoyed the quiet and the glow of the yurt as the sun went down.The host went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were celebrating our anniversary and they had thoughtfully put together a welcome package with some sweet touches that made it feel extra personal.One of the highlights of the trip was having an on-site chef prepare a meal for us. It made the whole experience feel even more special and relaxing.If you’re looking for a cozy and peaceful place to reconnect and enjoy the beauty of Montana, this yurt is truly a gem. We would absolutely stay here again.

The cabin was very cozy, it was clean, and had all we needed to have a comfortable, relaxing stay. I wish we could’ve stayed more than one night because it was so peaceful, and I wanted to enjoy the cabin a little longer. We sat by the fire at night and that was really nice and it was fun to be by the river.

My son and I LOVED the yurt! Fantastic little place! Very beautiful views. Plenty to do on the property. River right behind you. Giant Jenga game, other games, cornhole and so on. Property was very well maintained and clean! Everything I needed was right on site and well thought out! The host was amazing and easy to communicate with! My son and I can’t wait to come back and stay longer. We only had a one night stay passing through. 10/10 rating and will be back!! Don’t hesitate on this one!

What a beautiful Yurt. We talked about staying at one for years. Beautiful location, everything you couldPossibly need was in the yurt. Very clean and very nicely built. Beautiful story why it was built. Spent the night here with friends for a birthday party. Owners are the sweetest they even decorated for my friends birthday inside with a card a gifts for her. What a beautiful experience. Would highly recommend. I will definitely be returning again.

What a cute and unique stay, this was. The property, inside and out, was immaculate and so well kept up. Tamara is, by far, the most thoughtful host of all the properties we have stayed at. A sweet welcome awaited us. She has thought of everything to make this place welcome for all ages. There are so many games! It was nice to have time without screens and play outside games and board games inside. I highly recommend!

The yurt was beautiful! We stayed over the 4th of July and had a blast. Tamara has a wide range of amenities to make the stay even more comfortable. We especially appreciated the earplugs for the train sounds!

Absolutely perfect! Tamara, the host was exceptional. Her attention to detail, decor, cleanliness, the extras, everything was outstanding. I’ve shared the yurt information with family and friends, hoping they can go and enjoy this special place. The location was great. My teen son loved fishing along the bank, caught a couple 14-17 inchers! The kitchen and bbq were great for meal prep. AC units were great. All the outdoor furniture was great and that view!!!

The yurt was very nice, and the host thought of everything and made our stay convenient and easy. The location on the river was beautiful as well.We were just passing through the area, and only stayed one night. There was some unappreciated noise off property overnight, but that was out of everyone's control.We'd probably stay again should we find ourselves in the area.

We loved this place. The host is so organized. Pancake mix nicely labeled. Every kitchen amenity we needed was there. BEAUTIFUL view. So many places to sit and take in the big sky. We used all of them. My kids waded in the river, which moved swiftly. Tamara was kind enough to provide life jackets, which I made the kiddos wear (just in case). Kids and I agreed that we want to stay here annually and make it a tradition. During the day, we played the giant Jenga and hoseshoes outside. At night, before bed, we'd play scrabble inside. We loved the assortment of games/activities. The only caution I will provide readers is regarding the porch light in the summertime. It comes on automatically when it detects motion. It's very bright and the bugs LOVE it. So if you go out and in a couple of times, the bugs will hang out the door and then let themselves inside the yurt with you. On our second night, we covered the light with a beach towel, to prevent the motion sensor from going off. Worked like a charm and no bugs followed us in.

We loved this Yurt so much! We only stayed one night and we wished we could have stayed more. Our host Tamara has thought of everything you could possible need for your stay. She is phenomenal! I cannot recommend her place more. We stayed as a family of 5 with teens, there are no TV's or wifi but plenty of games both indoor and outdoor. It was a great respite in between our travels from Yellowstone and Grand Teton to Seattle. Stay here if you get the chance!!!
Tamara left us supplies for S'mores and my 12 year old said it was the best thing he ate the entire trip, lol!

Magical Family Stay on the River

We absolutely loved our stay at Tamara’s yurt on the river. It’s truly a magical place where we got some much needed rest and family bonding time. The yurt is fully stocked and has so many great amenities that are especially fun for kids. The love and effort Tamara has put into this place clearly shows in all her attention to the details. We had a really hard time leaving as it’s truly a one of a kind spot. It has been our favorite stay on our summer cross-country roadtrip and we hope to come visit again!
