This is our second stay at Mantra Mooloolaba but this time we were slightly disappointed. I thought I had booked the same type of room as last time (ocean superior)for the start of our stay upgrading to 3 bed after 4 days. but apparently I had not booked the superior room. The difference between ocean view and ocean view superior is no fixed cook top in kitchen a tiny fridge and no dishwasher. The manager was amazing and did end up shifting us to the bigger room we had booked earlier. This was not our major concern though what annoyed us was that the indoor pool was out of action for a week of our stay and this was one of the main reason we had booked mantra. We has no notification of this. The website stated there was renovations to the front building but no mention of the pool. To top it off the spa pool also broke down and was not heating and it rained most of the time so a warm spa or swim in indoor pool would have been lovely. Management didn’t even offer to reduce the charge for the one night upgrade, for the inconvenience of the pool being out of action. Although this annoyed us it would not stop me staying again as this hotel is very central and the option of the indoor and outdoor pool are great (when working),
