Beautiful place

Pictures don’t even do justice, absolutely my favorite place I’ve stayed. Very quiet and secluded. Beautiful golf course not even 3 miles away

Mountain getaway

This was a perfect location for the mountains. Not far from a city, close to great waterfall hiking! Wish we stayed longer to enjoy it more!

We enjoyed the property so much that we extended and would recommend for anyone looking to get away to a semi-secluded property. Everything plus much more stocked in the house.

Felt like home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We relaxed in the hot tub and had a fire in the outside pit, played cards, grilled up food on the outdoor kitchen, and explored a couple waterfalls around the area. Would go back and stay again!

A great get away place

We loved the home. It was very well laid out and comfortable. They had everything we needed. The hot tub was a plus, we enjoyed it every evening. The location was great and the property was so peaceful. We highly recommend this lovely home for any family vacation where you want to be close to a lake.

Cabin nestled in the woods

We had a great time at Sunset cabin. We really enjoyed the outside the BBQ and sitting area. We spent most of our time outside. Enjoyed exploring the nature trails. The location is perfect

Mountain fun

This property was perfect for our visit. Pet friendly and for our needs perfect size and amenities. The pole barn patio and outdoor kitchen was a hit with our family. Will for sure stay here again next time we head to Pickens! Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was better than described: The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils & equipment, spices, paper towels, dish soap, etc. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub was awesome. Highly recommend

The property was great! The 2nd bathroom is only really a bathtub so just be aware. The beds were all comfortable. The house was pretty well stocked.

Better than the photos!

Enjoyed a long Valentine’s couples weekend getaway relaxing in the screened-in hot tub, grilling fantastic steaks in the outdoor kitchen and just relaxing while unwinding from the pressures of city life, because you’ll definitely find tranquility here! Beds were wildly comfortable and the heaters in the bathrooms were GREAT after coming in freezing from a soak in the hot tub! The kitchen was WONDERFULLY stocked with everything we could possibly need! Great layout for couples or a family! Great find!

Perfect Escape

My friends and I rented this place for a weekend. We wanted a quiet and peaceful escape to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was everything I could have asked for and more. The house was BEAUTIFUL! I especially loved that when we walked in, the house smelled of real wood - so cozy!! We used the hot tub and the fire pit every day. I also really liked the swing that is installed in the carport. Check in and check out was a breeze. I would totally visit again. I recommend this place whole heartedly.

Great Location

We were in town for our son’s wedding so this place will always hold great memories for us. The place was a great size and the out door space was awesome. I love the openness of the kitchen area. The owner and manager were extremely attentive and responded quickly! The negatives were the house has a very poor odor when you first come in, the place was a little dirty (dirty tables), backyard was in need of a weed walker, and even though there’s 2 bathrooms there is only one shower.

Wonderful wooded getaway

The house was perfect. It was clean and uncluttered. The kitchen was fully stovked for cooking and eating. Did i mention the house was clean? The hot tub adds a great touch. The living area was a great place to relax after a fun day at Devils Fork state park. The grill and outside eating area was spacious and relaxing. We did not get to use the firepit but it was very inviting. The place was 15 minutes from Devils Fork State Park. There is a sandy beach and swim area, kayak/canoe rentals, you could rent a pontoon or just take a tour all on beautiful Lake Jocassee. This was a wonderful quiet relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back and i highly recommend

Amazing refresh

We truly loved our weekend getaway to this house! It was absolutely beautiful, even more than the pictures could show. We loved all the details that were put into this home. My oldest enjoyed playing the piano, while my younger two children loved the hot tub! We did a little exploring and found the perfect spot to capture some amazing star pictures! The outdoor grill was awesome, and we enjoyed a night around the fire pit too! The location was perfect for our visits to Clemson University and The Pretty Place. Thank you so much for allowing us to use to you beautiful home!

Sunset Escape

Property as described. Really open home with lots of free space. Selling points are the great outdoor kitchen and covered space and the proximity to many great spots. But you won’t get that “in the mountains feel” due to it not being that high up and close to the highway. But you can quickly get to those great hikes, grocery, etc. Only oddity is that it has one ‘real’ shower attached to the master bedroom. So be willing to share if that is a necessity. Scott is a great host, very responsive and contacted us ahead of time to report a repair that needed to be done to the home but did not affect our stay. Will hopefully be able to return in the future.

Amazing…

We came to the area to visit family and attend a wedding. The location was perfect, and out of the way quiet. We had no issues checking in or out, or with the property. We will definitely come back in the future.

Dog excursion

We try to take our blue heeler hiking in the mountains a couple of times a year. This place met all our needs and wants. We hiked at Table Rock State Park. Enjoyed the outdoor seating for dinner, the hot tub was what was needed after hiking over 7 miles. The place was furnished with everything one needs and they do not skimp on bath towels and dish towels . We would definitely recommend staying here and hope we can stay again soon.
