Welcome to the Sweet Retreat, a charming 4-bedroom lakefront home with its own private dock. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel right at home. The open floor plan provides plenty of space for your entire group to relax. The home boasts a wonderful dock with a spacious swim platform, perfect for swimming and soaking up the sun right in your own backyard. We're confident that you'll fall in love with the Sweet Retreat.

The home includes a fully furnished galley kitchen, allowing you to prepare your favorite meals for your guests. Afterward, head outside to enjoy one of the three decks offered by this home. There's a delightful covered deck, perfect for enjoying the weather while avoiding the heat or rain. Sit back with a cup of coffee or wine and watch the boats go by – how relaxing! The lower deck is a great spot for outdoor gathering or playing cornhole with the group. Additionally, this home features a martini deck, an ideal place to sit by the fire pit in the evenings and have conversations. There's also plenty of yard space to play games if you'd like to bring some along.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
There is a minimum of $100 if you dont do the check out procedures.
Please make sure all trash including bathroom and outside trash is taken out. Make sure that the trash can is out by the street and secured. Please dont move it. They wont pick it up by the house.
If you move the trash can & they dont pick it up there is a minimum fee of $100 to send our handman out and get all of the trash if pick up is missed. We will need room in the bin for the next guest
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

No Bachelor/ Bachelorette groups at the home. The people who rent the home are the only ones allowed at the home.
To Pets. Fine of $300 if you sneak one in. No Fireworks. Must do check out procedures to avoid a min $100 fee. No Glass on dock
Quiet hours are from 10pm- 8 am. You will be asked to leave with out a refund if we have to call more than twice.

Could have been better. But we had a great time.

I’ll try not to nitpick too much but, no king-size bed as advertised. Only seven forks in the kitchen and we were a party of nine. Parts of the property were not very well-maintained or cleaned. The location of the dock is great. The ability to use the lift is spectacular. Kids had a great time, swimming, boating, and fishing.Overall, I think the owner or host need to take a good inventory of household items and pay attention to some maintenance and cleanliness details, especially outside.
