Room was lovely and comfortable with a Great Lake view. Hotel was very pleasant and some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but some were grumpy and made us feel uncomfortable especially in the restaurant.

Fairly comfortable but AC didn’t work well and there was no ceiling fan. No shower but I really did enjoy the large bathtub! Breakfast was nice. Towels were old and somewhat stained. We appreciated that parking was free and there was a fridge in the room. We wouldn’t stay here again though.

Very beautyfull hotel and surroundings We had problems with aircondition, they truede to fix it, but it still didnt Work - er had a noisy fan so .,…, Thought that charging our Electric car was free - but 36euro for 4 hours

This property is an excellent three-star one as in some aspects it is better than three-star. Firstly, the staff are lovely. They are very welcoming and helpful. They really make the place. Secondly, the hotel is well-maintained and has amenities and services that you usually don’t get with three-star hotels such as the pool and the option of dining there (we had one dinner and it was very good and reasonably priced). The hotel is family-run and I feel this shows in the overall ambience and slightly olde worlde feel (nice paintings and furniture; more interesting than a chain hotel). It’s only a 5- minute walk from the boats to the islands and 15 into the centre. Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Stresa. It was fantastic and we got it for a very reasonable price on Expedia.
