This hotel is great for the price, it has a cozy lanai with tons of lights if you like to relax outside, also a restaurant and a bar which both are very convenient. The only thing was the AC it was very hot in the hotel and in the rooms but they are working on fixing that.

This hotel had an amazing pool area. Also the continental breakfast was really good. The room was supposed to have 2 queen size beds but the beds were full size. There was a portable air conditioner unit in all the west wing and that was very loud

Everything was acceptable and average or just above average. However, the common areas outside of the rooms were very warm and seemingly not air conditioned. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms are dirty. Paint peeling on bathroom ceilings, mld around the tub, sink traps missing, light bulbs missing … there was a used bar of soap in the shower and two of the towels were used/dirty. I complained to staff, they suggested I write a bad review. DONE!

The location is great, central to everything we needed. The property was once the jewel of the town. Now the flower beds have weeds taller than the lilies that grow yearly, there are many things in need of repair. We experienced very poor housekeeping wirh old towels left from the previous lodgers in one room and garbage left in another. Our 1st room had no air-conditioning as it wasn't working, the freezer was so iced up,it wouldn't close. The patio area had garbage lying around for almost 24 hours. Staff seemed uninformed and some oblivious to taking care of anything outside their immediate surroundings or in one case her phone. Breakfast was great of you got there right away in the morning, but if you came mid to later it was dry and chewy and unattended. Its obvious no one attends the grounds. After a wedding reception there was vomit by the side entrance for many hours in the morning. So sad to see this beautiful old hotel neglected. On top of it all, almost every morning a large tesla or some other vehicle parked in a back alleyway right in front of our window, completely blocking our view. Customer service is not a focus in pur experience..

Don’t stay here if you can help it. Room smelled like cigarettes, there was poop on the toilet, towels were stained, furniture was really old and ratty, air conditioning not working well in the main areas, outside areas were not kept up- there was a rotting pizza and beer cans strewn around the patio area for over a day, and it was just gross- all of it.

This hotel is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Our room smelled like BO and garbage was lying along side the bed and nightstand. I don’t know how it could have been missed. The staff were super nice and switched rooms. The new room was cleaner but one of the beds was terrible and sinking. Made for a long night of no sleep, especially when you are in town for a funeral. The bathroom was mildewed and the shampoo containers were empty. Not great, except for the check in girl, she was very kind.

Nice rooms, sucky internet

Was overall very nice. They forgot the bathroom in renovations but the room was beautiful. The shower has absolutely NO PRESSURE & Water wasn't very hot. Internet was TERRIBLE, cut off multiple times a day and stations cut off and reloaded frequently and all we had was Roku TV; so when it cut off we had NO TV.

Downtown Chicago service and amenities, right in the middle of a crap hole like Wisconsin Rapids. It doesn't make sense, but I'm so happy it's there. Complimentary massage chairs, 2 great restaurants, decent breakfast, and beautiful pool and hot tub. All this, and it's one of the lowest cost hotels in the area.
