The house and pool area was beautiful as pictured. The smart toilets were over the top but not needed and the showers had a great spa like experience. The sad part of our stay was the very poor communication with the host and execution of our messaging. The first nite two of the smoke detectors were beeping and she told us to remove the batteries and someone would come the next day. Next day came and I ended up replacing the batteries and her response was sorry and she would reimburse me. Btw no ladder to get the batteries out. Next was the shower for my granddaughters room only had extreme hot water. I messaged her on Saturday no response till Monday when I sent her another message. Kimbo her younger brother showed up Tuesday. He was great told us the unit would have to be replaced. We received a message the part wouldn’t be in till Friday. Next we requested the heating of the pool at 75 per day from the 16th to the 24th. The host acknowledged our request before we arrived as “noted” The pool always seemed to be a little cool and the heated pool temps were suppose to be 80-85 degrees but no thermometer was available to check. The pool guy showed up on the Friday before we were to leave and told us the spa heater was on but not the pool heater and I should contact the host. I sent the host a message as of today she hasn’t answered. I have stayed at other VRBO vacation places and all have answered or responded within a few hours. Sad!! Thank you Dave and Sandy.
